Plan to auction and find investors for the land of the old Lam Dong II Hospital

After many years of abandonment, the facilities at the old Lam Dong II Hospital are in a state of disrepair and disrepair.

Bao Loc City People's Committee has sent a document providing information on the plan to handle assets on the land of the old Lam Dong II Hospital (Dinh Tien Hoang Street, Ward 1, Bao Loc City) to relevant departments and branches of the province.

According to the records, this land is 25,700 ^m2 wide, with a long frontage on Dinh Tien Hoang Street, right in the center of Bao Loc City. Before 2019, this was Lam Dong II Hospital managed by Lam Dong Department of Health. Later, when the Hospital was moved to a new facility on Tran Quoc Toan Street, B'Lao Ward, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee issued a decision to reclaim and transfer assets on this hospital land, handing over to Bao Loc City People's Committee to receive, manage and use according to public property regulations.

The remaining book value of the assets on the land at the time of handover is nearly 14.8 billion VND. According to the general planning of Bao Loc City and surrounding areas until 2040; land use planning of Bao Loc City until 2030, this land is medical land.

In 2021, this facility was repaired by the People's Committee of Bao Loc City and put into use to serve the prevention of the Covid-19 pandemic. After the Covid-19 pandemic, this entire land was assigned to the Bao Loc City Military Command to manage and protect until now.

It is noted that after many years of abandonment, the old Lam Dong II Hospital has deteriorated and become damaged, causing waste.

According to Bao Loc City People's Committee, in 2023, a business requested to introduce a location to implement an international general hospital project combined with a nursing home and Bao Loc City introduced a number of land plots, including this one.

By the end of 2024, there are businesses in Hanoi that also want to carry out 2 high-quality hospital projects, of which 1 hospital will be built on this land.

However, the land of the old Lam Dong II Hospital has not yet had a land use rights auction plan approved by the competent authority. Therefore, after the plan is approved, the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee will publicly announce it for investors to participate in the land use rights auction.

On the side of Bao Loc City People's Committee, the locality is currently planning the urban subdivision of Ward 1 and the detailed planning. After the planning is approved, Bao Loc City People's Committee will propose a plan to auction land use rights and assets on the land to attract investment in building a high-quality hospital on this land.
