Speaking at the conclusion of the contest, Journalist To Dinh Tuan, Editor-in-Chief of Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper, said that in response to Plan No. 305 of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, from the responsibility of journalists, with the desire to build a forum to receive people's opinions and suggestions, on September 24, 2019, Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper launched the Contest "Listening to people's suggestions".
Dr. Nguyen Hoang Binh won first prize in the "Listening to people's suggestions" contest.
Up to now, after 4 times of organization, it has attracted attention and created a certain position in the hearts of readers, patriotic intellectuals and many domestic and foreign experts.
The 4th competition starts from October 5, 2022 to August 15, 2023, focusing on 2 main topics: "Accommodation and housing for low-income people"; "What should Ho Chi Minh City do to effectively promote Resolution 31 of the Politburo?".
With topics closely following the socio-economic development of the country and Ho Chi Minh City, Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper wishes to act as a "bridge" for people in the country from all walks of life, all sectors and overseas Vietnamese to send their opinions, ideas, proposals and recommendations in the form of articles or scientific research results that are practical and feasible to contribute to the development of Ho Chi Minh City and the whole country.
Journalist To Dinh Tuan said that the newspaper Nguoi Lao Dong has received many high-quality entries and published 88 enthusiastic suggestions from authors from many sectors of society. Among them, experts and patriotic intellectuals at home and abroad in many fields with the desire to contribute part of their intelligence to the city have sent their works to the newspaper.
The Lao Dong Newspaper and the Department of Information and Communications have signed a data transfer agreement.
Each work is truly a plan, solution, or idea that contributes to the development and constant efforts of the city named after Uncle Ho. These are the author's concerns and passion, a sense of responsibility, and love for the city named after Uncle Ho.
At the award ceremony, Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper and the Department of Information and Communications signed an agreement to transfer data from the first "Listening to people's suggestions" contest to the present to be posted on the digital transformation portal of Ho Chi Minh City.
The authors won the 4th "Listening to people's suggestions" contest. Specifically, the work "Recovering added value from land" by author Nguyen Hoang Binh won first prize. The work "Implementing Resolution 98: focusing on 3 goals" by author Pham Chanh Truc won second prize. The work "Untangling 4 social housing bottlenecks" by author Nguyen Huu Nguyen won third prize. The work "Diversifying solutions" by author Tran Van Tuong and the work "TOD model: Exit for Ho Chi Minh City" by author Pham Tran Hai both won the Encouragement Prize. Prize money: First prize 50 million VND; Second prize 30 million VND; Third prize 20 million VND; Encouragement prize 10 million VND/prize. Total prize value 120 million VND. |
