Reporting the contest's conclusion, Editor-in-Chief of Industry and Trade Newspaper Nguyen Van Minh said: After more than 2 months of launching and implementing, the Organizing Committee has received 561 entries from a large number of cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees and workers working in party organizations, agencies, units, socio-political organizations in the Ministry of Industry and Trade and readers nationwide. In particular, the contest also attracted many professors, doctors, leading economic experts, journalists and citizens to respond and participate.
" With a sense of responsibility, fairness, objectivity, transparency, and seriousness, the Secretariat reviewed, classified, and screened to propose 202 works to the Preliminary Council for evaluation, and selected 50 works to be included in the final round. The Final Council organized the evaluation and selected works with excellent content to submit to the Steering Committee and the Organizing Committee of the Competition for decision on awarding prizes " - Editor-in-Chief Nguyen Van Minh emphasized.

Accordingly, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes to 28 works and articles with excellent content according to the set rules and criteria, and 5 certificates of merit to units and groups with many achievements in organizing the contest well; 10 certificates of merit to individuals who organized and participated well in the contest, and 22 typical works were certified to enter the final round.
The Organizing Committee also selected outstanding and typical articles to promote, encourage and spread within the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and in society; the entries were also sent to participate in the Party Committee Competition of the Central Agencies.
This is the second time the Ministry of Industry and Trade has organized a political writing contest on protecting the Party's ideological foundation in the industry and trade sector. The 2023 writing contest had 467 entries. The Organizing Committee selected and decided to award prizes to 24 outstanding works/articles, including: 01 Special prize; 01 First prize; 03 Second prizes; 06 Third prizes; 08 Encouragement prizes; 05 Thematic prizes and 05 certificates of merit to 05 units with positive achievements in responding to the Contest.
At the event, the Party Executive Committee and the leaders of the Ministry of Industry and Trade launched a contest to learn about the traditions of the Industry and Trade sector.
The contest aims to honor traditional values, reflect the position and role of the Industry and Trade sector in nearly 75 years of construction and development; Contribute to educating traditions, arousing pride in the Industry and Trade sector, raising public awareness of the role and importance of the Industry and Trade sector in socio-economic development; Create opportunities for people to better understand the fields of operation of the Industry and Trade sector. At the same time, encourage creativity and active participation of all classes of people in learning and contributing ideas to build the Industry and Trade sector.
The contest runs from August 15, 2024 to February 3, 2025 .
