The fourth National Anti-Corruption and Anti-Negative Journalism Award, 2022 - 2023, jointly organized by the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Vietnam Journalists Association, and Vietnam Television, was launched from November 13, 2021 to August 31, 2023. As of August 31, 2023, the Organizing Committee of the Award received 1,078 valid entries in 4 categories: print, electronic, radio, and television from over 100 central and local press agencies.
Based on the consensus of the Council, each member of the Council has scored and commented on the 103 works that the Preliminary Council has scored in 4 categories, selecting outstanding works to honor at the Award Ceremony (scheduled to be held at 8:00 p.m. on November 5, 2023).
Speaking at the meeting, Vice President - General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Thi Thu Ha emphasized that this meeting is important for the Final Judging Council to reach a final consensus on the results of the evaluation of the works expected to win prizes, classified as: A, B, C, Encouragement.
Vice President - General Secretary Nguyen Thi Thu Ha suggested that, based on the summary of the preliminary results of the ranking of the members of the Final Jury, the members of the Jury continue to discuss and give opinions on the results of the selected works in a frank and constructive spirit, taking professional quality as the top criterion and seeking high consensus to unify the final results of the list of winning works for the Final Jury to report to the Steering Committee of the Fourth National Press Award for Anti-Corruption and Negativity, 2022 - 2023 for decision.
According to Vice President - General Secretary Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, to prepare the contents for the Award Ceremony, the delegates attending the meeting continued to pay attention to coordinating and directing the assigned units to closely follow the time, progress, and implementation plan of the Award, especially the preparations for the Award Ceremony according to the tasks assigned by the Award Steering Committee, contributing to the successful organization of the fourth National Press Award on anti-corruption and negativity, 2022 - 2023.
