As part of the Hung King's death anniversary activities in 2025, on the morning of April 6, at Dai Hung historical and cultural relic site, Dau Lieu ward, Hong Linh town, a folk ceremony was held to worship the ancestor Kinh Duong Vuong, the Hung Kings and a contest to wrap and cook Chung cake and Day cake to offer to Hung King in 2025.
A special art performance opened the contest of wrapping and cooking Chung cake and Day cake to offer to the Hung Kings.
The ceremony to worship the King Kinh Duong and the Hung Kings takes place solemnly according to traditional rituals with 3 parts: offering, sacrificial ceremony and reading the prayer for national peace and prosperity. This is a traditional folk ritual, held annually to commemorate the ancestors who founded the country, and at the same time express the wish for a peaceful land and sky, national peace and prosperity for the people.

Traditional ingredients are carefully prepared for the 2025 Banh Chung and Banh Day wrapping contest.
One of the exciting activities leading up to the Hung Kings' Death Anniversary in 2025 is the contest of wrapping and cooking banh chung and banh day to offer to the Hung Kings at the provincial level. The contest was organized by the Ha Tinh Provincial Women's Union in coordination with the Hung King's Commemoration Ceremony Organizing Committee. The contest was attended by 10 teams from the Women's Unions of districts, cities and towns in the province, the Home Cooking Cooperatives in Hong Linh town and Hong Linh Town High School.
Today, 10 teams will wrap and cook 1,000 Chung cakes and 200 Day cakes, then choose the most beautiful ones to offer to the National Ancestor on the Memorial Day tomorrow morning, April 7, or March 10 of the lunar calendar.
