Launching ceremony of Ninh Thuan Province Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center

On January 6, the Ninh Thuan Provincial Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion (Center) held a launching ceremony. Attending the event were comrades: Tran Quoc Nam, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Tran Minh Nam, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Lam Dong, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department; leaders of departments, branches, localities and Associations: Enterprises, Tourism, Aquatic Breeds, Young Entrepreneurs; investors and enterprises in the province.

At the ceremony, the leaders of the Department of Home Affairs announced Decision No. 954/QD-TTg dated August 15, 2023 of the Prime Minister on the establishment of the Center. After that, Mr. Truong Van Tien, Director of the Center, introduced the functions and tasks of the Center. This is a public service unit under the Provincial People's Committee; under the direct direction, management and operation of the Provincial People's Committee, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the guidance, inspection and supervision of specialized state management agencies.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Tran Quoc Nam, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, praised the sense of responsibility, high determination, and great efforts of the leaders, cadres, civil servants, and public employees of the Center in the past time. In order for the Center to operate effectively, meeting the expectations of the provincial leaders and the expectations of investors and businesses in the coming time, he suggested that the Center continue to improve its organizational structure, build coordination regulations with departments, branches, and localities; closely follow the Central's orientations, study trends and waves of investment, trade, and tourism shifts domestically and internationally to develop programs and plans to implement tasks methodically and professionally.

Focus on coordinating and preparing to organize the Conference to announce the Planning and Investment Promotion for 2024, scheduled to be held in April 2024; focus on promoting in provinces and cities of the Southern key economic region and in traditional countries such as: Korea, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong (China), the European Union... that have the need to restructure the supply chain and shift investment. Proactively approach, call for, support and accompany investors to research, survey, complete procedures, and effectively implement projects.

Comrade Tran Quoc Nam, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee presented flowers to congratulate the leaders of the Provincial Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also emphasized that, for tourism promotion, it is necessary to improve the quality and effectiveness of promotion work, bringing the image of Ninh Thuan tourism closer to domestic and foreign tourists; linking tourism activities with trade and service activities; promoting and accompanying businesses to bring specific products, OCOP products to good consumption through applications, digital platforms, e-commerce platforms, creating more vibrant and effective e-commerce activities. For industrial promotion, it is necessary to strengthen innovation, support access to land, production and business premises, investment incentives, credit; promote digital transformation in enterprises, effectively mobilize resources to support the sustainable development of industrial production - small-scale industry, rural industry in the new situation.

In addition, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Center's leaders to effectively implement the motto "Accompanying, professional, effective" to remove difficulties and obstacles of enterprises and investors; to set specific goals, further promote the spirit of solidarity, innovation, dynamism, creativity, build and develop the Center to become stronger and stronger, excellently complete assigned tasks, and actively contribute to the socio-economic development of the province.
