On the morning of March 29, 2025, the Provincial Steering Committee for the Elimination of Temporary and Dilapidated Houses held a launching ceremony for the 90-day campaign to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province. Speaking at the launching ceremony, comrade Tran Quoc Nam - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses emphasized: "During 90 days and nights, striving until the end of June 2025, the whole province will focus all resources to complete the construction and repair of houses for poor households, near-poor households, and households in especially difficult circumstances. We will mobilize the participation of all levels, sectors, organizations, businesses and philanthropists inside and outside the province to join hands to realize this noble goal. This campaign is not simply about supporting the construction of houses but also a movement with profound humanitarian significance. It demonstrates the responsibility, affection and sharing of the whole society towards families who are still facing many difficulties. Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses not only helps ensure safety in daily life but also contributes to improving the material and spiritual life of the people, creating favorable conditions for families develop the economy , rise up and escape poverty sustainably".

In order for the Movement to spread widely and achieve practical results, the Chairman of the People's Committee requested that all sectors and levels continue to mobilize the maximum resources of the State, armed forces, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio -political organizations, the business community and the entire population to accelerate the construction and repair of houses, create an emulation movement for the poor, determined to complete the goal of the "90-day and night campaign to respond to the emulation movement to join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" in Ninh Thuan province; departments, branches, sectors and localities are responsible for implementing the Campaign proactively, positively, publicly, transparently, effectively, without formality, without waiting, relying on, without shirking responsibility, ensuring that the support must be for the right subjects, on schedule, and with the quality of the works according to regulations; Media and press agencies should strengthen propaganda work on this humane policy of the Party and State, creating social consensus for everyone to support, share, and share responsibility in caring for the material and spiritual life of the people, especially the poor, the disadvantaged, and people in difficult circumstances in the province.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung highly appreciated the sense of responsibility of the political system from the province to the grassroots with high political determination, efforts to turn difficulties into advantages, turn the impossible into possible, with many creative and flexible ways of doing things, accordingly, the socio-economic development of the province in recent times has had many positive changes, national defense and security have been maintained, social security work has been fully and promptly implemented. Infrastructure has been synchronously invested in, the appearance of urban areas and rural areas has improved and become more spacious; the quality of life of people has been increasingly improved; in addition, the direction of the implementation of the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the province has been drastic and active, so far 652/1,361 houses have been constructed, reaching 47.9% of the plan, with the determination to complete all by June 2025. This is fast progress, 4 months ahead of the Prime Minister's direction.

The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that “The 90-day and night campaign in Ninh Thuan is not only a specific task of the locality, but also an important part of the country's major goal - completely eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses by the end of 2025”. In order for the Program to be completed according to the Plan and determination set forth by Ninh Thuan province, the Deputy Prime Minister requested that Party committees at all levels, authorities, the Fatherland Front and mass organizations of Ninh Thuan province review and accurately determine the number and subjects in need of support; implement allocations to ensure publicity, transparency, no duplication, no omissions, ensuring no exploitation, profiteering, negativity, waste; mobilize all resources from the state budget, contributions from the business community, philanthropists and especially the participation of the people themselves. At the same time, it is recommended that the military, police, youth unions, and villagers participate in supporting the transportation of materials and construction to reduce costs and speed up progress; it is necessary to ensure the quality of housing according to the "3 hard" standards - hard foundation, hard wall frame, hard roof - so that each house is a sustainable "warm home" for the people. At the same time, build houses with synchronous infrastructure; have long-term solutions to ensure sustainability, avoiding the recurrence of temporary housing in the future.

On this occasion, comrade Nguyen Chi Dung, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister personally presented a symbolic plaque donating 500 million VND to Ninh Thuan province to support the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses.
