The 'Crossing the Waves in Ha Long' Festival

Approximately 150 vehicles, including sailboats, jet skis, motorboats, and paragliders, will present spectacular displays at the "Crossing the Waves of Ha Long - 2024" festival.

On August 24th, the "Crossing the Waves of Ha Long 2024" festival will officially take place in Ha Long City. These events are part of the "Ha Long - City of Festivals" project and also celebrate the 30th anniversary of Ha Long Bay being recognized as a World Natural Heritage site (1994-2024).

Approximately 150 vehicles are expected to participate in the festival, including about 100 sailboats, 15 jet skis, 12 motorboats, and 5 paragliders, along with spectacular performances. "Crossing the Waves of Ha Long - 2024" promises to be vibrant and exciting, offering Ha Long residents and tourists new and unforgettable experiences.

According to the program, from 2 PM to 5 PM on August 24th, the sailing team will depart from Tuan Chau beach and move to Ocean Park beach; then continue the parade to the beach opposite Ha Long Flower Park.

At the end of the parade, the sailboat team assembled in formation to prepare for a performance with paragliders, jet skis, and water motorbikes.

From 5 PM to 8 PM on August 24th, 12 jet skis will perform in formation, parading with the national flag. The jet ski team will depart from Hon Gai Passenger Port and travel along the coastline to the area opposite Ha Long Flower Park. Meanwhile, the jet ski team will perform around the coastal area opposite Ha Long Flower Park. At the same time, the paragliding team, departing from 30/10 Square, will also proceed to the performance area on the coastline opposite Ha Long Flower Park.

This is the first time Ha Long City has organized a festival for sailing, parasailing, and jet skiing. This is an opportunity for enthusiasts of sailing, parasailing, and jet skiing from all over the country to come to Ha Long City to perform, exchange ideas, and promote the development of these sports .

At the same time, this event aims to contribute to promoting and boosting tourism in Ha Long, becoming a highlight in the orientation of building Ha Long as a festival city, attracting tourists to the dreamy coastal city of Ha Long on the shores of the heritage bay.
