Quan Nha communal house traditional festival 2025

The traditional festival of Quan Nha communal house is a traditional cultural activity of the local people, held on the 21st day of the third lunar month every year. Quan Nha communal house was formed and conferred by dynasties and worships the tutelary gods and lucky gods who have contributed to the country and the people. This is considered a place of religious activities for the people in the region. The Quan Nha historical and cultural relic complex includes: Ngoai communal house, Trong communal house and temples and shrines.

The Outer Communal House worships the god Cao Cac Ben Nuoc Dai Vuong. Legend has it that he was one of the sons of the National Ancestor Lac Long Quan and the National Mother Au Co who followed their father to the sea. The Inner Communal House worships Princess Nguyet Nga, a general who participated in the Hai Ba Trung uprising, who taught the people to grow mulberry, raise silkworms, and cultivate wet rice.

The ceremony was performed according to traditional rituals such as the ceremony of reporting to the village's tutelary god for permission to open the festival; the palanquin procession from the Inner Communal House to the Outer Communal House; the ritual of worshipping the village's tutelary god with the wish to pray for favorable weather, luck and peace for the people. In addition, at the traditional festival of Quan Nha village communal house, cultural and artistic exchange activities took place to celebrate the traditional festival of the village.
