Thanh Tuyen Festival - outstanding cultural event, unique tourism product

(Dan Tri) - On the evening of September 23, President Vo Van Thuong attended the Thanh Tuyen Festival Night 2023 event held in Tuyen Quang province.

Also attending the Thanh Tuyen Night 2023 were Head of the Central Economic Commission Tran Tuan Anh, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien, Former Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Former Head of the Central Committee for Mass Mobilization, Non-professional Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Ha Thi Khiet.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of Thanh Tuyen Night 2023, Mr. Tran Tuan Anh, Head of the Central Economic Committee, affirmed that children are the future of the country. During his lifetime, President Ho Chi Minh always had a deep and touching concern for children with a strong belief in the intelligence and qualities of the future generation. "He believed that caring for and educating children is an extremely great and important cause, the responsibility of the Party, the State and the whole society. It is an extremely great and valuable spiritual asset, a guideline for our Party and State to perfect the legal basis and realize the rights of children in Vietnam", Mr. Tran Tuan Anh emphasized.

Inheriting the nation's tradition, implementing President Ho Chi Minh's advice and with affection and responsibility for children, our Party has determined: " Caring for, educating and protecting children is a strategic and long-term issue, contributing significantly to preparing and improving the quality of human resources to serve the cause of industrialization, modernization of the country and international integration. Investing in children is investing in the future of the country. Doing this work well is the responsibility of Party committees at all levels, authorities, organizations, families, schools and the whole society ".

Therefore, many movement activities such as "Vietnamese children compete to implement well the five teachings of Uncle Ho", the movements "Thousands of good deeds", "Small plans", the program "Lighting up the dreams of Vietnamese children... have been carried out. In particular, Mr. Tran Tuan Anh emphasized that the Mid-Autumn Festival is still a good tradition with many emotions, contributing to preserving good values, connecting generations and being one of the beautiful memories of childhood. Speaking at the Thanh Tuyen Festival 2023, Mr. Nguyen Van Son, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tuyen Quang province, expressed that the Mid-Autumn Festival is special to every Tuyen Quang resident. "After nearly 20 years of creation, maintenance and development, with 3 times being set a Vietnamese record, Thanh Tuyen Festival has truly become a unique, distinctive and exclusive tourism product of Tuyen Quang province. Throughout the villages, street corners, cultural activities and experiences of the Mid-Autumn Festival of ethnic minorities are all unique and attractive," Mr. Son affirmed. Mr. Pham Long (Tuyen Quang city) shared that for many years, the Mid-Autumn Festival has always been a time for Tuyen Quang residents to have fun and welcome tourists. The development of the Tuyen Quang Mid-Autumn Festival to be maintained and developed as it is today is the contribution of each resident here.

During the Thanh Tuyen Festival 2023, more than 100 unique lantern models gathered at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square. The Thanh Tuyen Festival took place from September 20 and ended after the full moon day of the Mid-Autumn Festival.
