The Red Flamboyant Festival - Hai Phong 2025 is organized on the largest scale ever

The theme of this year's Red Flamboyant Festival - Hai Phong is "Hai Phong - 70 years of faith and aspiration to rise up" to affirm its position as one of the three largest cities in the country, its role as an important gateway, a driving force for development of the Northern region and the whole country, taking the lead in building a socialist model associated with socialist people.

The art program of the gala night "Hai Phong - 70 years of faith and aspiration to rise up" at the Red Flamboyant Festival - Hai Phong 2025 is expected to be held on the evening of May 13 at the Central Political - Administrative Square (new urban area north of Cam River, Thuy Nguyen City) with a scale of 13,000 delegates. The gala night has the participation of many famous artists and singers in the country and their hometown of Hai Phong.

The Organizing Committee is expected to invite art troupes from Hai Duong province to perform pieces about the land and people of Hai Duong at the art program.

The city plans to start and inaugurate 7 projects. Of these, 3 key projects are proposed to be eligible for starting and inaugurating, including the investment project to build a new urban area in Duong Kinh district and Kien Thuy district; the investment project to build the City Political - Administrative Center, and the project to build the City Conference - Performance Center (both in the new urban area North of Cam River).

For the first time, Hai Phong City organized fireworks displays at the same time at 6 locations in the city. Each fireworks display location has an LED screen to serve the live broadcast of the celebration and art program on the evening of May 13.

Hai Phong City supports 10 million VND for each village and residential group to organize activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of liberation on the same day, May 10, 2025, creating a joyful, exciting atmosphere and solidarity for all people.

The inauguration of the “Red Flamboyant” train by Vietnam Railways Corporation - the unit in charge of developing railway products, is expected to put into operation 20 new carriages on the Hanoi - Hai Phong railway route.

For the first time, Hai Phong City organized a military parade and mass parade on May 11 at the City Theater Square, with 32 groups representing forces and social classes that have united and joined hands in protecting, building and developing the city over the past 70 years.

Opening of Hai Phong Book Street 2025 at To Huu flower garden and Kim Dong flower garden in the city center. The program is expected to last from April 19 to May 20, 2025.

A series of art performances, music and dance, traditional Cheo art, comedy, amateur music, street art programs... at the City Theater Square from April 30 to June 1 with the participation of professional art troupes, agencies, units and localities in the city.

The Red Flamboyant Festival - Hai Phong 2025 is very international in character with a week of international art programs taking place at the city's central square with the participation of the Fansipang art troupe. In particular, there is the participation of art troupes from countries such as China, Korea, Japan... to exchange international children's art.

On the evening of May 14, at the Political - Administrative Center (urban area north of Cam River), a grand music festival will take place with the participation of famous artists. This will be a night of explosive emotions for young people.

In particular, Hai Phong will expand the number of guests from Hai Duong province, with nearly 80 provincial delegates. In addition, about 2,000 guests who are leaders of departments, branches, businesses, and localities inside and outside the city will also attend, demonstrating the determination to promote regional linkages and cooperation...
