Street Festival “Buon Ma Thuot - Destination of world coffee”

On the afternoon of March 10, at the Victory Monument, Buon Ma Thuot city, the Street Festival within the framework of the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival in 2025 with the theme "Buon Ma Thuot - Destination of world coffee" opened with many unique, creative and attractive contents, bringing to the people and tourists unique and impressive cultural colors.

Attending the festival were comrades: Vo Van Canh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Truong Cong Thai, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of provinces, cities, international organizations and diplomatic delegations attending the festival; leaders of departments, branches, districts, towns and cities; along with thousands of people and tourists.

The street festival took place in two parts: Opening Ceremony - Parade and Exchange. Participating in the parade and exchange were media ambassadors - Miss Universe Vietnam 2017 H'Hen Nie, Miss Vietnam Tourism Ambassador 2024 Dinh Thi Hoa; art troupes from various countries, artisans, artists, students, children; staff, workers of enterprises, business establishments, factories, coffee farmers...

The Street Festival program has impressive art performances, creating a vibrant, joyful, and exciting atmosphere, leading participants to explore the cultural beauty and unique heritage of the land and people of the Central Highlands in general and Dak Lak in particular; honoring the value of coffee beans, coffee growers, processors, and traders.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Truong Cong Thai said that the Street Festival aims to introduce unique images of coffee culture, people, potential, strengths and tourism of the province; create an image of a dynamic, friendly, polite and hospitable Dak Lak; attract domestic and foreign investors and tourists to Dak Lak.

This festival is even more meaningful, as it is held on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the historic Victory Day of Buon Ma Thuot, liberating Dak Lak province (March 10, 1975 - March 10, 2025), opening the way for the General Offensive and Uprising in the Spring of 1975, completely liberating the South and reunifying the country.

The festival not only brings interesting experiences to locals and tourists, enjoying unique art programs, but also is an opportunity to connect and promote tourism to domestic and international friends, promote the cultural and economic values ​​of coffee, enhance the brand of Buon Ma Thuot Coffee globally, as well as affirm the position of Buon Ma Thuot city - Destination of world coffee.
