GENfest Music Festival Announces Famous Artist Line-up from Korea to Vietnam

On October 14, GENfest 2024 continued to announce 6 more artists including famous names, including 2 international artists, Hwasa and LOCO. Hwasa is famous for her confidence and impressive stage presence. Each of her performances explodes with her powerful voice, unique style and captivating choreography, attracting all eyes. From solo hits like “TWIT” and “Maria” to emotional ballads, Hwasa always turns each performance into a memorable and unforgettable experience. In addition to her outstanding music career, Hwasa is also one of the representative faces of K-pop. She was honored by Forbes in the 30 Under 30 Asia list in 2021 and is regularly ranked in the “Girl Group Member Brand Index” by the Korean Business Research Institute. Hwasa was also ranked as one of the most popular K-pop idols by Gallup Korea for two consecutive years in 2019 and 2020.

As one of Korea’s top hip-hop artists, LOCO has made a name for himself with a string of smash hits and an inspiring performance style. Having won the first season of Show Me The Money, LOCO quickly became an icon of the Korean rap scene, with hits like “Hold Me Tight”, “Too Much”, and “Some”. The combination of catchy melodies and emotional rap lyrics has helped LOCO capture the hearts of audiences at home and abroad. Recently, LOCO has continued to assert his appeal with songs like “It Takes Time”, “Can’t Sleep”, and “Just Like This”. His creativity and unique performance style always keep the audience glued to the stage.

At the same time, 8 Vietnamese artists participating in the performance at GENfest 2024 were announced as SUBOI, Karik, Andree Right Hand, Wren Evans, tlinh, Quang Hung MasterD, Duong Domic and WXRDIE.

Along with the attractive line-up, GENfest 2024 also has the accompaniment of Music Director SlimV and Director Duong Mai Viet Anh. GENfest affirms its position as one of the leading music festivals in Vietnam. With more than 35,000 attendees in 2023, GENfest has risen to become an event of great scale and influence in the region. Unlike other festivals, GENfest brings a series of rich performances, including 14-15 leading Vietnamese and international artists, each set lasts 45 minutes, meticulously staged by the artists themselves and leading music producers and stage directors.

On October 15, the entire lineup of GENfest 2024 will be revealed along with a detailed performance schedule for November 23 and 24. If in 2023, GENfest successfully brought "Kpop Queen" - Lee Hyori to Vietnam for the first time, along with "Sexy Queen" - HyunA and "Digital Monster" - Zico and Zion.T, then GENfest 2024 also hinted at a lineup of equally famous international artists.
