On the morning of October 4th, in Xuan Pho commune (Nghi Xuan district), the Management Board of the Tran Dynasty Temple of Vietnam organized the 723rd anniversary commemoration ceremony for Saint Tran - Hung Dao Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tuan.
Hung Dao Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tuan (born 1228 - died 1300) was from Tuc Mac village, My Loc district, Ha Nam Ninh province (now part of Nam Dinh province). He was an exceptionally talented and intelligent man, an outstanding general of the Vietnamese nation.
The Management Board organized the 723rd anniversary commemoration of Saint Tran - Hung Dao Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tuan (1300 - 2023).
More than 700 years ago, General Tran Quoc Tuan, also known as Hung Dao Dai Vuong, led the Vietnamese people and army in fighting against foreign invaders, protecting the country's borders and national independence.
The commemoration ceremony is an occasion to recall the glorious traditions of our ancestors, to remember the contributions of the national hero, and to help enhance the sense of responsibility and trust of the people in the Party and the State in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland today.
On this occasion, the organizing committee presented 30 gifts (each worth 1 million VND) to disadvantaged students in Xuan Pho commune.
