Consulting the people on awarding and posthumously awarding medals to collectives and individuals

The Emulation and Reward Board of Ha Tinh province has just issued a document seeking public opinions on rewards for collectives and individuals.

Pursuant to the Law on Emulation and Commendation dated November 26, 2003 and the Law on Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Law on Emulation and Commendation dated June 14, 2005 and November 16, 2013; Decree No. 91/2017/ND-CP dated July 31, 2017 of the Government detailing the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Emulation and Commendation; Circular No. 12/2019/TT-BNV dated November 4, 2019 of the Ministry of Home Affairs detailing the implementation of a number of articles of Decree No. 91/2017/ND-CP dated July 31, 2017 of the Government, the Provincial Emulation and Commendation Committee solicited public opinions in Ha Tinh Newspaper on the proposal for the President to award and posthumously award medals to collectives and individuals.

Accordingly, the Third Class Independence Medal was posthumously awarded to two individuals who participated in revolutionary activities before 1935, including: Mr. Nguyen Van Tuong (born in 1909, hometown: Minh Loc commune, Can Loc district, now Dau Lieu ward, Hong Linh town; place of registration: Dau Lieu ward, Hong Linh town); Mr. Nguyen Thien (born in 1905, hometown: Kim Loc commune, Can Loc district, now Kim Song Truong commune, Can Loc district; place of registration: Kim Song Truong commune, Can Loc district).

Awarding the First Class Labor Medal to Hoang Xuan Han Secondary School (Duc Tho), for its outstanding achievements in education and training from the 2018-2019 school year to the 2022-2023 school year.

Awarding the Third Class Labor Medal to Dong Loc High School (Can Loc), for its outstanding achievements in education and training from the 2013-2014 school year to the 2022-2023 school year.

People can give their opinions by sending a written document (with signature, full name, phone number, contact address) and sending it to the Provincial Emulation and Reward Board (No. 86, Phan Dinh Phung Street, Ha Tinh City). After 10 days of posting, if there is no feedback from the People, the Provincial Emulation and Reward Board will carry out the procedures and processes to advise the Provincial People's Committee to submit to the levels of rewards according to regulations.
