Sampling and monitoring products and foods consumed in large quantities during Tet in Hai Duong

From December 25, 2024 to March 25, 2025, functional units of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Hai Duong province will inspect and check the origin of products, production conditions, traceability records, rapid testing of borax and nitrate indicators, monitoring of microbial indicators, heavy metals, mycotoxins, food additives, preservatives, stimulants, growth promoters, pesticide residues, antibiotics, and banned substances for products processed from meat, seafood, vegetables, tubers, fruits, etc. Wholesale markets, establishments, stores distributing, producing, processing, and trading food are the places where these activities will be focused on.

The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development Inspectorate will also conduct surprise inspections and strictly handle violations in food production and trading...

The Department requests relevant agencies, units and localities to coordinate in propagating and enhancing the role and responsibility of leaders in food safety management. Publicize individuals, establishments and organizations that violate food safety regulations to warn consumers, minimize possible food poisoning incidents, and ensure people have a safe Tet holiday.

This is one of the notable contents in the plan to implement food safety assurance work under the management of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Hai Duong that has just been deployed.
