With this scale, JCCH continues to maintain its third position among nearly 100 Japanese Business Associations in countries around the world, only behind Shanghai and Bangkok.
Of those more than 1,000 members, the business community based in Ho Chi Minh City accounts for about 70% with 727 businesses.
The city is choosing to promote green growth for its city development strategy, while setting a target of reducing emissions by 10% by 2030. With extensive experience and modern advanced technologies, the Japanese business community also wishes to contribute to accompanying the city in implementing ESG criteria.

This is a factor that helps Vietnam attract attention worldwide, with an excellent labor force and development potential. In the coming time, these conditions will create a great driving force for Vietnam's economy and growth.
Japan also looks forward to this opportunity to cooperate closely with Vietnam in many areas, including people-to-people exchange and development of high-quality human resources.
In addition, promoting high technology, digital transformation, and green transformation are also important topics. Japan and Vietnam, through the Net Zero target, aim to build sustainable development, ensuring both economic growth and the environment.
The Consul General hopes that the cooperation between Japan and Vietnam, the harmony between Japanese and Vietnamese technology and Vietnam's excellent resources will create new values, not only in Asia but also in the world.
"The four areas discussed through the roundtable are also issues raised for the development orientation of Ho Chi Minh City in the medium and long term, helping the relationship between Japanese and Ho Chi Minh City levels to become increasingly deeper," said Mr. Ono Masuo.
Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman Vo Van Hoan highly appreciated the recommendations of the enterprises. This is a very meaningful contribution to the city in continuing to improve the quality of urban government construction, improve the investment environment, and accompany enterprises.
The Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee said that basically the previous recommendations of Japanese enterprises have been effectively resolved.
Regarding remaining issues as well as additional proposals, the city reaffirms its commitment to always accompany businesses, making efforts to remove difficulties and obstacles to better meet the requirements of an equal and transparent business environment.
