
The One Commune One Product Program of Lao Cai province in 2025 focuses on prioritizing the development of specialty products and traditional products associated with the advantages of local production conditions and culture, especially products of craft villages, traditional occupations, rural tourism services, and at the same time re-evaluating OCOP products that have expired after 36 months as prescribed.
The province requires localities to focus on diversifying and deeply processing products according to the value chain, perfecting production organization in the direction of linking production households with cooperatives, cooperatives and enterprises. Consolidating and upgrading at least 50% of OCOP products that have been evaluated and classified; prioritizing the development of OCOP products associated with product brands, developing rural tourism services.

At least 30% more OCOP entities build value chains in the direction of green OCOP associated with stable raw material areas. At least 4% more traditional craft villages have OCOP products, contributing to the preservation and development of traditional craft villages.
At least 50% of OCOP entities participate in modern sales channels (supermarket systems, convenience stores, e-commerce trading floors, etc.); 100% of OCOP products are put on e-commerce floors, creating digital booths and having electronic payment accounts; striving to have 2 to 3 more points to introduce and sell OCOP products in districts, towns and cities.
100% of newly evaluated products with 3 stars or more are supported to add the OCOP Logo to the product packaging, 80% of entities with OCOP certified products have their own website to serve the promotion and e-commerce promotion.
