In the congratulatory message, the leaders of the Vietnamese Party and State highly appreciated and congratulated China on its achievements in socio-economic development and reform and opening up over the past 74 years.

The year 2023 is of great significance to the Vietnam-China relationship, marking the 15th anniversary of the establishment of the Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership between the two countries. This is also a milestone for the two countries to look back on the past, summarize successful experiences, and jointly plan a sustainable and long-term development future for the traditional friendly neighborly relationship and comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between Vietnam and China .

On this occasion, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang, Chairman of the Vietnam-China Bilateral Cooperation Steering Committee and Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son sent congratulatory messages to Mr. Wang Yi, Director of the Office of the Central Foreign Affairs Commission, Chairman of the China-Vietnam Bilateral Cooperation Steering Committee, and Minister of Foreign Affairs of China.

On the evening of September 26, in Hanoi, the Chinese Embassy held a solemn reception to celebrate the 74th anniversary of China's National Day.

Chinese Ambassador Hung Ba reviewed the achievements of the Chinese Party, State and people over the past 74 years, looking back at China's development path from "standing up", then "getting rich" and "getting strong".

The Ambassador emphasized that under the leadership of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China with General Secretary and President Xi Jinping as the core leader, China has successfully completed the first 100-year goal, comprehensively building a moderately prosperous society, opening a new journey of building Chinese-style modernization.

On behalf of the Party, State and people of Vietnam attending the ceremony, Chairman of the State Capital Management Committee at Enterprises Nguyen Hoang Anh congratulated the great achievements that the Party, State and people of China have achieved in 74 years.

China has become the world's leading economic power with GDP accounting for 19% of the total global GDP, trade accounting for over 15% of the total global trade turnover and contributing 38.6% to the world's economic growth. Mr. Nguyen Hoang Anh believes that China will continue to move forward steadily on the path to achieving the goal of "100 times two", building China into a modern, prosperous, democratic, civilized, harmonious and beautiful socialist country.

In recent years, the relationship between the two Parties and two countries has made remarkable progress in all areas, especially since the historic visit to China by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong (October 2022).

In the coming time, the Party, State and people of Vietnam are ready to work with the Party, State and people of China to bring bilateral relations into a new stage of development with higher political trust, deeper practical cooperation and a more solid social foundation.
