On this occasion, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tien Giang Province Huynh Van Hai informed about the outstanding results of the socio-economic situation, national defense and security of the province and the implementation of the policy of rearranging and reorganizing administrative units at all levels. Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tien Giang Province Huynh Van Hai said that Tien Giang will merge with Dong Thap Province, named Dong Thap Province, with the political and administrative center located in My Tho City today; at the same time, build a model of organizing local government at 2 levels: province and commune.
