Provincial People's Committee leaders visited and encouraged Finance units on the last day of the year

On the afternoon of December 29, comrade Pham Quang Ngoc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrade Tran Song Tung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee visited, encouraged and congratulated a number of units under the Finance sector on the last working day of 2023. * Visiting and congratulating the Ha Nam Ninh Customs Department, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Quang Ngoc praised the efforts of the leadership team, cadres and civil servants of the Ha Nam Ninh Customs Department, especially in the context of economic difficulties, greatly affecting the budget collection work, but the Department has proposed drastic measures and solutions, excellently completing key programs and work plans for 2023. As of December 29, the Department's revenue has reached 106% of the assigned target, of which in Ninh Binh province alone it reached 103%.

Sharing the difficulties and hardships of the industry, especially in the last days of the year when they are still working hard, he hopes that in 2024, the collective leadership, officers and civil servants of Ha Nam Ninh Customs Department will continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, unity, innovation, discipline and responsibility, creating the most favorable conditions for import and export activities of enterprises on the basis of strictly implementing the provisions of law, completing and exceeding all planned targets, contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality.

He emphasized that the sector has proactively developed scenarios and plans for reasonable and timely budget collection. At present, although the target assigned by the province has not been achieved, the Tax sector has always been determined and made the greatest efforts in tax management, closely forecasting the situation to advise the Provincial People's Council and People's Committee on proactive budget management plans. Thereby ensuring regular expenditure tasks, providing enough capital for key programs and projects, promoting socio-economic development.

In addition, the Tax sector has resolutely and synchronously implemented solutions in deploying electronic invoices generated from cash registers and collecting tax arrears; being the leading unit in implementing new tax policies and guidelines of the Government and the Ministry of Finance. Gradually affirming the position and role of the Tax agency in performing its tasks.

With the achieved results, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that in 2024, the collective leadership, cadres and civil servants of the Tax sector will continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, unity, innovation, discipline, responsibility, create favorable conditions for businesses on the basis of strictly implementing the provisions of law, strive to complete and exceed all planned targets, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of the locality.

* At the Department of Finance, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Song Tung shared the difficulties of the industry in the past year when performing tasks in difficult economic conditions, but the collective leadership, cadres and civil servants of the Department have always upheld the spirit of responsibility, proactively built scenario plans from the beginning of the year, advised on flexible and effective budget revenue and expenditure management, and successfully completed assigned political tasks.

Sending best wishes to all cadres, leaders, civil servants, public employees and workers of the Department of Finance on the occasion of the new year 2024, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department to continue to promote its achievements, complete its assigned tasks more excellently, manage and operate the budget, increase revenue, save expenditure; spend correctly, spend sufficiently and spend promptly; ensure the completion and over-fulfillment of budget revenue targets, creating important resources to help the province effectively carry out socio-economic development tasks, ensure security and defense in the area.
