On the morning of November 20, the Provincial People's Committee held a working conference with the National Power Transmission Corporation on the implementation of the 500KV transmission line project of Nam Dinh I Thermal Power Plant - Thanh Hoa, section passing through Ninh Binh province.
Comrade Nguyen Cao Son, Member of Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee; Comrade Luu Viet Tien, Deputy General Director of National Power Transmission Corporation co-chaired the conference. Also attending were leaders of a number of relevant departments, branches, and Kim Son District People's Committee.
The 500 KV Nam Dinh I Thermal Power Plant - Thanh Hoa Transmission Line Project contributes to supplementing capacity from power sources in the North Central region to the load center in the Northern region; transmitting capacity from Nam Dinh I Thermal Power Plant and thermal power plants in the North Central region as well as renewable energy power plants in the Central region to the National Power System, creating a connection between regional power grids.
The project is implemented in 3 provinces: Nam Dinh, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, of which the section through Ninh Binh province is about 7.9 km long, passing through 11 communes of Kim Son district with 21 column foundation locations, the land acquisition area for column foundation and safety corridor is nearly 4 hectares.
Up to now, the project has been approved by the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee for land use planning in accordance with the land use needs of the project. Currently, the work of measuring the current status map has been completed by the consulting unit, waiting for the signature of confirmation of the measurement form to each household. However, during the implementation of the project, there are some difficulties because 6/11 communes affected by the project have not completed the cadastral map after land consolidation, so the exact owners of the assets in the project have not been identified.
At the meeting, the Deputy General Director of the National Power Transmission Corporation proposed that the Provincial People's Committee, Kim Son District People's Committee and relevant departments, branches and agencies of the province support procedures for site clearance for handover according to the following progress milestones: For the column foundation, handover before January 31, 2024; for the safety corridor, handover before February 29, 2024.

Comrade Nguyen Cao Son, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: The 500KV Transmission Line Project of Nam Dinh I Thermal Power Plant - Thanh Hoa is a national key project, the project's on-schedule implementation contributes greatly to ensuring electricity supply for the daily life and production of people and businesses.
Therefore, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested Kim Son district to coordinate with the investor to strengthen propaganda and mobilize affected people to agree to hand over the site for the project. If any difficulties or problems arise during the implementation process, they should be reported to the Provincial People's Committee for timely resolution. He also requested the National Power Transmission Corporation to complete legal procedures according to regulations; actively coordinate with departments, branches and localities of Ninh Binh province in site clearance, ensuring progress and compliance with legal regulations.
