Provincial People's Committee leaders work with Masan Group

On January 10, Comrade Tran Quoc Nam, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired a working session with Masan Group to Ninh Thuan to explore investment opportunities.

At the meeting, a representative of Masan Group said that it has deployed and operated 11 Vinmart retail stores in the province and is investing in the Krong Pha Eco-tourism and Mineral Water Factory Project (Ninh Son). The Group wishes to seek opportunities and expand investment in developing the retail system in Ninh Thuan; accompanying the province's typical products into the production and business system to solve the output for agricultural production such as: fish sauce, chili, garlic, salt, livestock and poultry meat; at the same time, linking and supporting investment in the production of agricultural products in the direction of high-tech agriculture. Regarding the implementation of the Krong Pha Eco-tourism and Mineral Water Factory Project, the Group said that it is completing investment procedures; Renovate the ecological area and put into commercial operation resort services, mineral baths and restaurants in 2024. From 2025, plan to exploit the market and seek business opportunities to produce a bottled mineral water factory with a production capacity of 45 million liters/year.

Speaking at the meeting, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee welcomed and highly appreciated the Group for coming to Ninh Thuan to seek investment opportunities; at the same time, informed about the potentials and strengths of the province's socio-economic development conditions in terms of transport infrastructure, tourism, marine economy, and agricultural product production. Thereby, he hoped that the Group would promote investment in areas with strengths, especially in processing essential consumer goods to enhance the value and brand of local products such as: Salt, fruits, fish sauce, beef, goats, sheep, grapes, apples, garlic, asparagus and develop local agricultural farms. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested relevant departments and branches to advise the Provincial People's Committee to coordinate and create conditions for investors to realize projects and investment opportunities in which the province has potential. At the same time, thoroughly and completely resolve the existing problems at the Krong Pha Eco-Resort and Mineral Water Factory Project in accordance with regulations, creating favorable and effective conditions for businesses to invest.
