Provincial People's Committee leaders work with Ho Chi Minh City Business Association

On the afternoon of February 20, Comrade Tran Song Tung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, had a meeting and worked with the Ho Chi Minh City Business Association led by Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hoa, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Association. Also attending were leaders of a number of relevant departments and branches.

At the reception, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Song Tung expressed his joy, excitement and gratitude when the Ho Chi Minh City Business Association chose Ninh Binh as the first destination to work in the new year of Giap Thin. He also briefly informed about the geographical and political characteristics and socio-economic development situation of Ninh Binh province.

In recent years, with strong will and aspiration for development, Ninh Binh province has achieved many great achievements in all fields. From 2022, the province will balance its own budget and regulate the central budget. Ninh Binh is one of the three modern auto mechanical industry centers of the country; the economic structure has shifted positively, towards gradually reducing the proportion of agriculture (only 10%), gradually increasing the proportion of services (about 47%)...

In its economic development orientation, Ninh Binh has identified green-clean-circular development, based on the foundation of preserving and promoting cultural and natural values, taking cultural industry as a breakthrough. To implement the above strategy, Ninh Binh has developed a policy plan that clearly identifies tourism as a key economic sector; industry aims to attract high-tech and clean-tech projects that contribute highly to the State budget; and does not trade the environment for economic development.

Thanks to the steadfast goal of green and sustainable development, Ninh Binh tourism has developed strongly, increasingly affirming its position on the domestic and international tourism map. During the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin, the province welcomed nearly 600,000 visitors, with revenue reaching over 850 billion VND. Education has developed strongly, with quality constantly improved. Social security is concerned, people have jobs and stable income.

Continuing the results achieved in the process of cooperation and investment promotion in Ho Chi Minh City in 2023, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that after the working session, the Ho Chi Minh City Business Association will continue to exchange, connect, share, and support businesses in the province, while promoting promotion, advertising, and investment cooperation activities in many fields for businesses of the two provinces to develop together.

With sincere gratitude for the affection and attention of the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the provincial leaders, Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Hoa, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Association expressed his impression and congratulated the outstanding achievements that Ninh Binh has achieved after more than 30 years of renovation with the country. Ninh Binh not only has a long-standing traditional history and unique natural landscapes but is also the only locality possessing mixed heritage in Southeast Asia.

With such potentials and strengths and the right development orientation of Ninh Binh, it will open up great cooperation opportunities for enterprises of the Ho Chi Minh City Business Association. Currently, the Association attracts more than 17,000 members, operating in a variety of industries, and is the only association in the country with a Party delegation. After this working trip, the Association will continue to promote activities to introduce, promote, exchange, promote and seek investment opportunities, especially in the fields of trade, services and tourism in Ninh Binh. Thereby, further tightening the cooperative relationship and mutual development between Ninh Binh and Ho Chi Minh City.
