On the morning of January 3, the People's Committee of Dak Lak province organized a dialogue conference between the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee and cadres, members, and women in the province in 2024 with the theme "Promoting gender equality and promoting the role of cadres, members, and women in socio-economic development in Dak Lak province".
Attending the conference were Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Huynh Thi Chien Hoa; Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee H'Yim Kđoh; Chairwoman of the Provincial Women's Union To Thi Tam; representatives of leaders of relevant departments and branches, and more than 200 officials, members, and women in the province.

The conference is an important forum for cadres, members and women to meet, express their thoughts, feelings, recommendations and propose difficulties and problems related to gender equality, life, employment, etc. At the same time, it is also an opportunity for provincial leaders to directly listen to and answer proposals and recommendations of cadres and women members on the implementation of the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; issues related to the legitimate and legal rights and interests of women. Thereby promoting the spirit of democracy, affirming the role, position, rights, responsibilities and obligations of women in the construction and socio-economic development of the province.

At the conference, in the spirit of frank exchange and dialogue, cadres, members and women raised opinions and recommendations focusing on the contents related to mechanisms and policies to encourage and support women to start businesses to develop the economy; build new rural areas; gender equality; ensure social security for women; cadre work for women; solutions to ensure safety for women and children; specific solutions to remove difficulties for cooperatives and enterprises managed by women; propose to consider reducing procedures to create conditions for female cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers who still have difficulties in housing to borrow capital to build houses and access preferential capital sources; propose to support funding to buy health insurance for female members with serious illnesses; solutions to arrange stable jobs for women after vocational training; orientation to reduce the situation of early marriage...

The basic opinions and recommendations were discussed, shared, answered by leaders of relevant departments, branches and sectors, and solutions and handling directions were proposed in the coming time, thereby partly resolving the thoughts, aspirations and concerns of cadres, members and women in the province.

Concluding the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee H'Yim Kđoh affirmed that in recent times, the province has implemented many specific programs and plans to promote gender equality and promote the role of cadres, members and women in socio-economic development in the area, thereby initially achieving certain results, creating a favorable environment and conditions for women to increasingly affirm their position and have more opportunities to contribute to their families, communities and society.
