Ho Chi Minh City leaders meet and commend exemplary ward and hamlet Party cell secretaries of 2025

On January 14, the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee held a conference to honor exemplary Ward and Hamlet Party Cell Secretaries at the city level in 2025. Attending and presenting the token of gratitude was Politburo member and Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Nen.

Also attending the Conference were Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Phan Van Mai and more than 300 delegates from typical ward and hamlet Party cell secretaries in the city.

Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc - Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City emphasized that the Party Secretaries of the Neighborhood and Hamlet Party Cells have recently promoted their roles and sense of responsibility together with the Party Committee and Party members of the cell as the core to mobilize the masses to join hands in carrying out many political tasks, developing the economy, culture, society, and ensuring security and order in the locality.

Thereby, making an important contribution to the construction and development of the locality and the city. "You comrades are shining examples, exemplary, always responsible, actively completing excellent political tasks in the locality; promoting exemplary, prestigious, and typical qualities in the community, being an extended arm and an important link in creating a bloc of national unity and solidarity", the Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City affirmed.

At the Conference, the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee honored 186 outstanding Ward and Hamlet Party Cell Secretaries at the city level, voted in 22 districts and Thu Duc City. Politburo member, Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen and Chairman of the City People's Committee Phan Van Mai presented flowers and symbols of gratitude to the Ward and Hamlet Party Cell Secretaries.

According to the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, the city currently has 1,747 recognized residential areas of solidarity, affection, and self-management; 100% of residential areas in the city organize national solidarity festivals; nearly 2,200 great solidarity meals and 44 models of the movement for the whole people to protect national security have been recognized.

During the Lunar New Year 2025, Ho Chi Minh City built 2,452 "Tet street corner" models and organized the "Spring of Solidarity - Tet of Love" festival in 273 residential areas for people to enjoy Spring and celebrate Tet.
