Ho Chi Minh City leaders visit families of martyrs who died in the defensive combat exercise of Military Region 7

(NLDO) - Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong affirmed that the leaders of the Party, State and Ho Chi Minh City respectfully acknowledge the sacrifices of the martyrs.

On December 26, in Binh Duong province, a working delegation of the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City visited the families of martyrs who died in the 2024 Military Region 7 defense exercise.

The delegation was led by Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the Mass Mobilization Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.

Also joining the delegation were Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Thuy, Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Fatherland Front Committee; Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Linh, Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Union; Mr. Truong Vinh Tung, Deputy Chief of Office of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.

The delegation visited and encouraged the family of martyr Truong Van Tien and the family of martyr Hong Chi Tai (Dau Tieng district).

Here, Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong and the delegation burned incense to commemorate the sacrifices of the martyrs. At the same time, they kindly visited, encouraged, and shared with the martyrs' families and expressed their condolences to the families of martyrs who sacrificed their lives while performing their duties, directly participating in activities to ensure and maintain security and order, and being ready to fight, contributing to the stability and development of Ho Chi Minh City and the Southeast provinces.

Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong affirmed that the leaders of the Party, State and Ho Chi Minh City respectfully acknowledge the sacrifices of martyrs in building and protecting the Fatherland even in peacetime, and hope that their families will soon overcome the pain and stabilize their lives.
