Southern Love Music Night is organized by Vietnam Television Center in Ho Chi Minh City, Khong Ten tea room, Nova Service at Lalaland Ho Con Rua, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City.

More than 25 singers sing for the North

Attending the Southern Love Music Night were Mr. Nguyen Van Nen - Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, Mr. Phan Van Mai - Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, Mr. Do Thanh Hai - Deputy General Director of Vietnam Television... and thousands of spectators.

More than 25 singers contributed their voices without receiving any salary, such as: Hong Nhung, Quang Dung, Quang Linh, Thanh Ha, Le Quyen, Quang Ha, Hien Thuc, Quach Tuan Du, Thanh Ngoc, Vy Oanh, Quoc Thien, Bao Anh, Luong Bich Huu... Cam Van's family, Khac Trieu and Cece Truong.

Many songs expressing sympathy for the disadvantaged people moved the audience: Let the wind take you away, Aspiration, Sa mua gio, Yeu dan ton Viet Nam, Nho mua thu Ha Noi, Mot vong Viet Nam, O hai dau noi nho...

At the program, singer Hong Nhung shared about her trip to help people affected by storm No. 3 in Thai Nguyen province.

She said she felt heartbroken by the tragic stories happening in Thai Nguyen because this place is associated with her childhood.

Hong Nhung said she made a documentary about storm number 3, expressing her philosophy of life and the good qualities of Vietnamese people in difficult times.

Southern Love Music Night raises funds to build houses for people in Lang Nu

The representative of the organizing committee said that the Prime Minister assigned Vietnam Television to coordinate with the People's Committee of Lao Cai province to build 37 houses for people in Lang Nu village who suffered damage in the recent storm and flood.

Accordingly, the money raised from the Southern Love Music Night will be transferred to the Vietnamese Heart Fund of Vietnam Television to build houses for the people of Lang Nu.

Singer Quang Linh said he was born in Hue, which experiences several storms every year, so he deeply feels the losses of the victims in the recent storm.

"I hope that benefactors will contribute a lot to share with those in difficult circumstances during the storm. We need more to overcome the consequences of this disaster" - Quang Linh shared.

Not only singer Quang Linh but also singer Quang Ha is always willing to participate in charity music nights, even asking to sing and contribute to support compatriots.

"This is not the only program I have participated in to support the people in the North affected by storms and floods. When I was in Hanoi, I witnessed the damage caused by storms.

I sent 1,000 barrels of water to the people in Phu Tho; bought necessities, medicine for the people... with my own money. There were programs where I asked to participate or held a box of money to ask the audience for money to contribute to supporting the people" - Quang Ha told Tuoi Tre Online .

Singer Quang Dung said: "The artists hope to use their songs to connect, thereby earning a large sum of money to share with the people of the North. I believe this is the happiness of all the artists participating in the program."

At the end of the music night, the organizers announced that the amount of money donated by benefactors and the auction of items in the Southern Love program was 5 billion 16 million VND.
