Provincial leaders visit and present gifts to outstanding policy families in districts

BDK.VN - On the morning of April 23, 2025, the provincial working delegation led by Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Ngoc Tam visited and presented gifts to 10 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers (VNAH), Former Youth Volunteers (TNXP), and outstanding War Invalids (TB) in Ba Tri district on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025); 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Ben Tre province (May 1, 1975 - May 1, 2025).

Attending the delegation were Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs Nguyen Thi Ngoc Thi; Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee - Chairman of the People's Committee of Ba Tri district Duong Minh Tung; representatives of the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee Office and the Department of Home Affairs of Ba Tri district.

Accordingly, the delegation went to My Hoa commune, visited and presented gifts to 4 policy households including: Heroic Vietnamese Mother Nguyen Thi Rinh; 3/4 Class 3/4 Class 3/4 Class 3/4 Class 3/4 Class 3/4 Class Nguyen Van Co and Former Youth Volunteer Pham Huu Thua.

In Tan Xuan commune, the delegation visited and presented gifts to 3 families of heroic Vietnamese heroes including: Heroic Vietnamese Mother Nguyen Thi Hon; 1/4 class Huynh Van Hao and 1/4 class Cao Xuan Dien.

At each place visited, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Ngoc Tam kindly visited and expressed gratitude to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and policy families. He acknowledged the efforts and struggles of policy families in economic development as well as the care for policy families by local Party committees and authorities.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Ngoc Tam sent best wishes to the Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, families of policy beneficiaries, and people with meritorious services. He hoped that local leaders would continue to pay attention and take care of the families. The families of policy beneficiaries would continue to promote the revolutionary tradition, encourage their children and grandchildren, and the younger generation to actively join hands to contribute to the development of their homeland and country.

On this occasion, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Ngoc Tam, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, presented each household with gifts including: 2 million dong in cash and gifts (worth 450 thousand dong).

* Secretary of Ben Tre City Party Committee Nguyen Van Tuan visited Vietnamese heroic mothers, heroes of the armed forces, veterans, wounded and sick soldiers in the area.

The delegation visited families in Ward 7, An Hoi Ward, Son Dong Commune, Phu Hung Commune and Phu Nhuan Commune. At each destination, Secretary of the Ben Tre City Party Committee Nguyen Van Tuan kindly inquired about the health and economic life of families of policy beneficiaries, martyrs, war invalids and sick soldiers; at the same time, expressed his feelings and gratitude for the contributions of the families to the cause of national liberation and reunification.

The delegation gave each family 2 million VND, a gift basket and wished the families good health, happiness and warmth.

* The provincial working delegation led by Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Canh visited typical policy beneficiaries in Hung Khanh Trung B commune, Cho Lach district.

The delegation visited and presented gifts to Mr. Nguyen Van Xe - 3/4 class disabled soldier.

Accordingly, the delegation visited and presented gifts to 4 heroic Vietnamese mothers: Mother Nguyen Thi Sen; Mother Nguyen Thi Diep; Mother Trinh Thi Nuoi; Mother Nguyen Thi Cam.

Visiting 3 3/4 class wounded soldiers including: Mr. Nguyen Van Xe; Mrs. Tran Thi Ranh; Mr. Thai Van Bon and 2 wounded soldiers: Mr. Vo Van Thap; Mr. Nguyen Minh Phuong.

At each destination, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Canh kindly asked about the health and daily life, encouraged the spirit and listened to the sharing and thoughts of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, wounded and sick soldiers, and former youth volunteers.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee expressed his deep gratitude for the silent sacrifices and great contributions of previous generations, who did not fear hardships and dangers to contribute to the great victory of the nation, bringing independence and freedom to the country and happiness to the people. At the same time, he hoped that the families would continue to promote the revolutionary tradition, try to maintain their health, and be a shining example for their children and grandchildren to follow.

On this occasion, the delegation presented each policy beneficiary with a gift and 2 million VND in cash.

* On the morning of April 23, 2025, the provincial working delegation led by Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Le Van Khe visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers (VNAH), typical war invalids and sick soldiers in Binh Khanh, Phuoc Hiep and Dinh Thuy communes (Mo Cay Nam district).

The delegation visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in Binh Khanh Commune, including : Mother Nguyen Thi Hai; Mother Truong Thi Nghi; Mother Le Thi Bong; Mother Nguyen Thi Thang and Heroic Mother Le Thi Day (born in 1928) in Phuoc Hiep Commune; and visited sick soldier Nguyen Van Lieu (born in 1961) residing in Dinh Thuy Commune . At each destination, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Le Van Khe kindly inquired about the health and life of Heroic Mothers, wounded soldiers and sick soldiers.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Le Van Khe expressed his deep gratitude to the Heroic Mothers of Vietnam, who sacrificed their loved ones for the cause of national liberation and reunification. He also expressed his gratitude to the wounded and sick soldiers who sacrificed part of their blood and bones for the Fatherland. The dedication and sacrifice of the Heroic Mothers of Vietnam and the wounded and sick soldiers in the cause of defending the Fatherland will forever be a shining example for generations.

On behalf of the delegation, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Le Van Khe presented each individual with a gift and sent wishes of health and happiness to the individuals and families of the Heroic Vietnamese Mothers and the wounded and sick soldiers. He hoped that the families would continue to promote the revolutionary tradition, contribute to the development of the locality; and asked the relatives of the Heroic Vietnamese Mothers to take good care of the elderly mothers.
