Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Bao Ha highly appreciated the spirit and responsibility of the officers and employees of the Ha Tinh banking sector in performing the year-end settlement task.

On the afternoon of December 30, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Bao Ha came to congratulate the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) of the province and a number of commercial banks in the area that are performing the 2023 settlement task. Leaders of the Provincial Party Committee of State Agencies and Enterprises, departments, branches and sectors also attended.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Bau Ha and the delegation came to congratulate and encourage the officers and employees who are performing settlement tasks at the Provincial State Bank, Agribank Ha Tinh II Branch, Vietcombank Ha Tinh Branch and BIDV Ha Tinh Branch.

Last year, the provincial State Bank regularly directed credit institutions (CIs) in the area to direct credit to production and business sectors, priority sectors and economic growth drivers according to the Government's policy; ensure safe and effective credit activities; continue to strictly control credit in potentially risky sectors; create favorable conditions for businesses and people to access bank credit capital.

Implementing tasks in difficult conditions, Agribank Ha Tinh II Branch has made efforts to successfully complete production and business targets. Adhering to the credit mechanisms and policies of the Central Government, the province and the local development goals, the branch has made a breakthrough in growth of outstanding loans and capital. It is estimated that by December 31, 2023, total capital will reach over VND 13,399 billion (an increase of over VND 1,700 billion compared to the beginning of the year), total outstanding loans will reach VND 13,790 billion (an increase of over VND 1,350 billion compared to the beginning of the year).

In 2023, outstanding credit balance at Vietcombank Ha Tinh Branch reached 15,100 billion VND, up 29% compared to the beginning of the year; capital mobilization reached 13,600 billion VND, up 24% compared to the beginning of the year; credit activities were safe and effective; market share always maintained the top position in the area. Last year, the branch paid the budget more than 13.4 billion VND...

In 2023, BIDV Ha Tinh Branch will strive to fulfill its tasks and targets assigned by the Central Government, with credit expected to grow by more than 14%, capital mobilization expected to grow by 12%, and credit quality guaranteed. The branch has promoted digital transformation, and so far has more than 2,600 corporate customers and more than 180,000 individual customers using e-banking. In addition, the unit has also implemented many social security programs in the area with an expected funding source of 16.2 billion VND.

However, with high determination, proactiveness and flexibility in implementing credit solutions, the banking system continues to be the lifeblood, creating growth momentum for the economy. Credit capital from banks in Ha Tinh has supported economic sectors to boldly invest and develop production and business, contributing to pushing back "black credit" in the area. In addition, the banking sector has also accompanied the province in effectively implementing social security programs...

Deploying the tasks in 2024, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Bao Ha requested the provincial State Bank to continue directing credit institutions to strive to successfully complete the goals and tasks such as: ensuring safe and effective credit growth; focusing credit on production sectors, priority sectors according to the Government's policies and key projects of the province; accompanying local authorities to effectively implement social security work...

Provincial leaders encourage banks to make year-end settlements

It is estimated that by December 31, 2023, the total mobilized capital of Ha Tinh's banking industry will reach VND 94,231 billion, an increase of 17.43% compared to the end of 2022; outstanding credit balance will reach about VND 91,702 billion, an increase of 9.1% compared to the end of 2022.

In 2023, local credit institutions will carry out sponsorship activities for new rural construction, civilized urban areas and social security work with a total budget of more than 150 billion VND.
