Dong Thap province leaders congratulate Vietnamese Embassy in Cambodia

DTO - On April 4, Mr. Huynh Minh Tuan - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Head of the working delegation of Dong Thap province, together with Mr. Pham Van Chuan - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council visited and extended New Year greetings to the Vietnamese Embassy in Cambodia and the Khmer - Vietnam Association in Cambodia, headquartered in Phnom Penh, concluding their working trip in the neighboring country.

On the occasion of the approaching traditional Cambodian New Year, Vice Chairman of Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee Huynh Minh Tuan sent his regards and wishes to the leaders, staff of the Embassy and their families to celebrate Chol Chnam Thmay happily and work well. Mr. Huynh Minh Tuan also informed about the socio-economic development results of Dong Thap in 2024, thereby thanking the Embassy for always caring and accompanying the province in foreign affairs and border economic development, most recently completing the upgrade of Thuong Phuoc International Border Gate by both waterway and road. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to Cambodia Nguyen Minh Vu sincerely thanked the sentiments of the leaders and people of Dong Thap province. Mr. Nguyen Minh Vu emphasized that he will continue to be ready to advise and support the province on related issues.

Delegation visits and wishes a happy new year to the Khmer-Vietnam Association in Cambodia

Next, the delegation visited and wished the Khmer - Vietnam Association in Cambodia a Happy New Year. Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Minh Tuan congratulated the Association on its development and the increasingly stable lives of overseas Vietnamese. Mr. Huynh Minh Tuan wished the people a happy, prosperous and united Chol Chnam Thmay. Mr. Sim Chy - Chairman of the Khmer - Vietnam Association in Cambodia thanked Dong Thap for its affection and support in the past time, and wished to continue to strengthen this connection. Currently, the Association is headquartered in the capital Phnom Penh, with 25 branches in all provinces and cities of Cambodia, and has been and is continuing to establish and consolidate the Women's, Youth, and Business Associations. The Association's leaders expect that this will be a young force to inherit.
