DTO - Continuing the working trip to the Kingdom of Cambodia, on the afternoon of April 2, the delegation of Dong Thap province led by Mr. Huynh Minh Tuan - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, together with Mr. Pham Van Chuan - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council visited and extended New Year greetings to the government and people of Banteay Meachey province. Mr. Oum Reatrey - Governor of Banteay Meachey province, Mr. Plek Vary - Chairman of the Provincial Council received the delegation.

This year, Cambodia's traditional New Year will take place from April 13 to 15. On the occasion of the upcoming New Year, Vice Chairman of Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee Huynh Minh Tuan congratulated the government and people of Banteay Meachey province on a happy traditional New Year and continued to reap new achievements in socio-economic development.

Comrade Huynh Minh Tuan also said that Dong Thap will continue to promote the signing of cooperation agreements with the neighboring province. The leaders of Banteay Meachey province thanked the sentiments of the Party Committee, government and people of Dong Thap province. Wishing the cooperative and friendly relationship between the two provinces to continue to develop. Mr. Oum Reatrey - Governor of Banteay Meachey province also said that currently, two universities in the two provinces have signed cooperation agreements, which is the basis for continued development in the field of training and other fields.

Earlier the same day, the delegation of Dong Thap province visited and wished the Consulate General of Vietnam in Battambang province, Kingdom of Cambodia a Happy New Year. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Van - Consul General welcomed the delegation. On the occasion of the traditional New Year of the host country, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Minh Tuan wished the leaders, staff of the Consulate General and their families a happy and warm Chol Chnam Thmay and good work. Consul General Nguyen Thanh Van respectfully expressed his gratitude for the affection of Dong Thap province.
