City leaders visit and give gifts to policy families in Cai Rang district

(CT) - On April 22, a delegation of officials representing the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, led by Mr. Duong Tan Hien, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, attended a meeting and presented gifts to typical families of policy beneficiaries and people with revolutionary contributions in Cai Rang district, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

Comrade Duong Tan Hien, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, and Comrade Nguyen Van Su, Secretary of Cai Rang District Party Committee, presented gifts and took souvenir photos with Heroic Vietnamese Mother Le Thi Nhan and Heroic Vietnamese Mother Tran Thi Hai.

At the meeting, comrade Duong Tan Hien briefly informed about the city's socio -economic achievements; kindly inquired about health, expressed gratitude for the merits and contributions of policy families in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland. On this occasion, the leaders of Can Tho City and Cai Rang District presented 50 gifts to representatives of policy families and people with revolutionary contributions attending the meeting, each gift worth 2 million VND, from the city budget.
