Ensuring absolute safety for submarines at sea

Reporting to the leaders of Hanoi City, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Xuan Quan said that in 2024, the officers and soldiers of the entire Brigade were always united, proactive, and overcame difficulties to successfully complete assigned tasks. Many tasks were completed excellently, notably ensuring absolute safety for submarines at sea to carry out their missions.

During the performance of their duties at sea, submarine crew members always demonstrate strong political will, a special spirit of solidarity, high independence, the ability to endure hardships, overcome challenges in the harsh conditions of the submarine working environment, strictly observe work discipline, calmly and confidently handle all situations, ensure absolute safety and complete all contents of the seafaring orders.

In 2024, the submarines successfully completed many sea voyages with thousands of nautical miles, ensuring absolute safety. With these results, the Brigade has always been one of the leading units in the emulation movement to win as well as building exemplary standards and training to master new weapons and equipment of the Navy. Many typical and advanced collectives and individuals, truly outstanding and outstanding, have been commended and recognized by their superiors.

In that common achievement, Submarine 182 - Hanoi has been united, determined to complete the assigned tasks well, always being the leading unit in the emulation movement to win of the Brigade. On January 3, the ship happily celebrated its 11th anniversary (January 3, 2014 - January 3, 2025). Over the past 11 years, Submarine 182 - Hanoi has always affirmed itself as the eldest brother among submarines. Officers and sailors always clearly identify honor and responsibility, build determination, and strive to master the submarine.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Xuan Quan said that 2025 is the year of many important political events for the country, the army, and the military branches, especially the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party. Therefore, the Brigade's tasks continue to be heavy, in which the focus is on training, combat readiness, and ensuring all aspects for submarines to train and conduct reconnaissance at sea. The Party Committee and the Brigade Command identified these as key political tasks.

Briefly reporting on the results achieved by the city in 2024, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee said that Hanoi has achieved comprehensive results in all areas of work: Party building, political system, socio-economic development, culture, education, and health. In particular, in the field of national security and defense, the capital's armed forces successfully organized and ensured absolute safety for the 2024 defense zone exercise, which was the largest in scale and nature ever with new requirements and methods.

In addition to completing regular political tasks, Hanoi has made great efforts to complete the great task of ensuring the long-term development of Hanoi in the future, such as: The National Assembly has passed the amended Law on the Capital, the Prime Minister has approved 2 plans for the Capital with orientation and vision to 2050-2065.

Always identifying its responsibility as the capital to the whole country, in addition to fulfilling its tasks well, Hanoi also always affirms its role in supporting and helping other provinces and cities in overcoming difficulties caused by natural disasters, storms and floods, and supporting socio-economic development. Hanoi is also always closely associated with the armed forces, first of all the forces stationed in the area; the activities and tasks of the armed forces of the Vietnam People's Army throughout the country.
