On May 21, information spread on many social networking sites that a bun cha restaurant in Sam Son City (Thanh Hoa) was selling at a high price, with a plate of bun and only 2 cha being priced at 35,000 VND.
Included with the information is a photo of the price list, a plate of noodles with 2 pork rolls, and a bowl of dipping sauce.

After the photos and information were posted, many groups on Facebook shared them, many people commented that the price of a serving of bun cha with only 1 plate of noodles and 2 pieces of pork is expensive, "ripping off" customers.
Immediately after the information appeared, the interdisciplinary team of Sam Son City inspected and recorded that there was a bun cha restaurant selling the above portion of bun for 35,000 VND.
During the business process, this bun cha restaurant also publicly and clearly listed the price, 1 serving of bun cha costs 35,000 VND, and sells at the listed price, not more expensive.
A leader of the People's Committee of Sam Son City confirmed that the selling price of the bun cha restaurant that people reported on social networks was correct, but this was not an act of "rip-off".
"The shop owner has posted prices publicly and fully, without being ambiguous or selling at a higher price than the listed price," said this leader.
