On the morning of June 14, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue and National Assembly Permanent Vice Chairman Tran Thanh Man co-chaired a working session of the National Assembly leaders with the National Assembly Standing Committee's Supervisory Delegation on "Implementation of Resolution No. 88/2014/QH13 and Resolution No. 51/2017/QH14 of the National Assembly on innovation of general education programs and textbooks".

Speaking at the meeting, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue said that this is one of the four monitoring topics of the National Assembly and the National Assembly Standing Committee in 2023. It is expected that in August 2023, the National Assembly Standing Committee will hear the report of the Monitoring Delegation on "Implementation of Resolution No. 88/2014/QH13 and Resolution No. 51/2017/QH14 of the National Assembly on innovation of general education programs and textbooks".
The National Assembly Chairman assessed that the Supervisory Delegation had seriously implemented the resolutions of the National Assembly and the National Assembly Standing Committee; implemented very meticulously with the very close and responsible direction of the National Assembly Permanent Vice Chairman Tran Thanh Man, Head of the Supervisory Delegation. 63 National Assembly delegations and 48 provincial People's Councils sent reports on the results of supervision related to this content to the Supervisory Delegation.

The monitoring team has developed 13 thematic reports. Developing thematic reports is a very new approach of the monitoring team.
Based on the opinions at the meeting, the National Assembly Chairman requested the Supervisory Delegation to complete the supervisory report and draft resolution to submit to the National Assembly Standing Committee for consideration and comments.
