On the afternoon of April 10, 2024, Chairman of Can Giuoc District People's Committee - Nguyen Anh Duc chaired a conference to listen to the report on the Can Giuoc Urban Master Plan (referred to as the Plan). Secretary of the District Party Committee Truong Thanh Liem; Permanent Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Council Nguyen Phuoc Hung; members of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee; leaders of the district's branches, unions, People's Committees of communes, towns and enterprises attended.
At the conference, the consulting unit presented the Can Giuoc Urban Master Plan, scale 1/10,000. In which, it proposed planning areas for industrial development; trade and services; logistics; urban; residential; agriculture; culture, education. Especially the transport infrastructure to promote the socio-economic development of the district in the coming time.
Secretary of the District Party Committee - Truong Thanh Liem requested the District People's Committee to direct the Economic and Infrastructure Department to coordinate with the consulting unit to build the Project in accordance with the planning and orientation of the province. Note the merger of commune-level administrative boundaries in the coming time. The planning must ensure the natural landscape and natural conditions of the locality. Arrange land funds for appropriate cultural and sports institutions. Study the district's transportation system, propose appropriate solutions to serve the development of the district.
The representative of the Department of Construction proposed that the consulting unit should update the traffic and urban planning of neighboring areas into the Project.
Chairman of the District People's Committee Nguyen Anh Duc requested that the district departments, commune and town People's Committees send their comments to the Department of Economy and Infrastructure. The Department of Economy and Infrastructure coordinates with the consulting unit to receive and synthesize the comments of delegates and departments to complete the Project as soon as possible, and submit it to the competent authority for consideration and approval. Note that the Project must ensure development orientation and legality. At the same time, the Department of Economy and Infrastructure studies the project to build Can Giuoc city and Can Giuoc town to meet the standards of a type III urban area.
On this occasion, the District People's Committee also listened to the report on the detailed planning project of Tan Tap resettlement area, Can Giuoc district, scale 1/500 to contribute, complete and submit to competent authorities for approval./.
