Da Nang leaders push for progress in 4 industrial clusters Cam Le, Hoa Nhon, Hoa Lien, Hoa Khanh Nam

On January 9, at the conference to review the work in 2024 and deploy tasks in 2025 of the People's Committee of Da Nang city, the Department of Industry and Trade reported on the progress of implementing 4 industrial clusters of Cam Le, Hoa Nhon, Hoa Lien, Hoa Khanh Nam with a total area of ​​over 125 hectares.

Leaders of the Department of Industry and Trade of Da Nang said they are carrying out procedures to prepare to put these industrial clusters into operation, expected to be at the earliest by the end of 2025.

According to the progress report, for Cam Le Industrial Park, in the first quarter, businesses and production facilities will be organized to access the site, carry out construction, environmental, land procedures...

Cam Le District People's Committee started the project to connect traffic and drainage infrastructure. By the end of the year, the inspection and acceptance of all technical infrastructure works will be completed. From then until 2026, businesses and production facilities will sign land lease contracts and invest in building factories and start production and business activities.

For Hoa Nhon Industrial Cluster: currently completing the selection of investors to build technical infrastructure.

From the second quarter of 2025 to 2026, the investor will carry out investment preparation procedures, invest in the construction of technical infrastructure works and put them into operation.

For Hoa Lien Industrial Cluster: prepare procedures such as issuing a set of criteria for selecting enterprises to invest in production and business, procedures for adjusting detailed planning, converting forest use purposes, environmental procedures, land, etc. It is expected that by the end of this year, it will begin receiving enterprises.

For Hoa Khanh Nam Industrial Cluster: it is expected to complete site clearance and select investors to build technical infrastructure in 2025. From 2026 - 2027, investors will carry out investment preparation procedures, invest in building technical infrastructure works and put them into operation.

According to the leader of the Department of Industry and Trade, some industrial clusters are still undergoing land conversion procedures.

Upon hearing the report, Mr. Nguyen Van Quang, Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee, requested that the land be cleared soon and that businesses be selected for operation. He also asked relevant units to review their approach, because the regulations are already in place and the city has issued policies, but so far they are still struggling and implementing them sluggishly.

"If we don't put it into operation quickly, it will be a huge waste. How much money is invested here, while businesses are waiting outside while we keep struggling with procedures, criteria, and order," said Mr. Quang.

Mr. Quang also requested to review and consider the responsibility of relevant collectives and individuals if the industrial clusters are not put into operation in a timely manner.

Get to work immediately with the industrial park just approved by the Prime Minister

On December 31, 2024, the Prime Minister issued a decision approving the investment policy for the project to invest in construction and business of infrastructure of Hoa Ninh Industrial Park with an area of ​​400m²; implementation progress is 42 months from the date of land lease, because Thanh Binh Phu My Joint Stock Company is the only remaining investor to submit valid documents.

The Management Board of the High-Tech Park and Industrial Parks said it is striving to complete the approval of investors for the Hoa Ninh Industrial Park before February 3.

According to the progress report, on January 2, this company submitted documents to the City People's Committee to approve the project investor. Currently, the management board is collecting opinions to summarize the report for the City People's Committee to consider and decide, striving to complete the approval of the investor before February 3.
