Leaders of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and Petrovietnam visited and wished a Happy New Year to workers on FPSO Lam Son and Diamond rig Block 01&02

The delegation included Deputy Directors of the Department of Oil, Gas and Coal - Ministry of Industry and Trade Tran Thanh Tung and Trinh Duc Duy. On the Petrovietnam side, there were Mr. Tran Binh Minh - Member of the Board of Directors; Mr. Trinh Viet Thang - Head of the Group's Petroleum Contract Management Board; Mr. Nguyen Duc Chinh - Director of the Block 01&02 Project Management Board; Mr. Vu Viet Hung - Director of the Block 01/97&02/97 Project Management Board.

Visiting and wishing a Happy New Year to workers at FPSO Lam Son and Diamond rig, Mr. Tran Thanh Tung, Deputy Director of the Department of Petroleum and Coal, Ministry of Industry and Trade, acknowledged the efforts and difficulties of workers at sea. These are important tasks not only for the Project Management Board but also contribute to the sustainable development of the Oil and Gas industry. Mr. Tran Thanh Tung also wished a peaceful and happy New Year and encouraged oil and gas workers to be confident in their work, always ensure safety, and perform well the assigned tasks.

The delegation gave gifts to workers on the Diamond rig.

According to the plan, the visit and New Year greetings to workers of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and Petrovietnam included 3 locations: FPSO Lam Son, Diamond rig and FPSO Ruby II. However, due to the windy weather, the plane could not land at FPSO Ruby II, so the delegation sent gifts from FPSO Ruby II workers for the Diamond rig leaders to deliver after the trip.

Encouraging and wishing the workers at FPSO Lam Son and Diamond rig a Happy New Year, Mr. Tran Binh Minh - Member of Petrovietnam Board of Directors highly appreciated the achievements of the leadership and workers in the past time. Petrovietnam will accompany the workers at FPSO Lam Son and Diamond rig to overcome difficulties and challenges and commit to providing a safe working environment and the best support for workers to complete their assigned tasks well.

On this occasion, leaders of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Petrovietnam and Vietnam Oil and Gas Technical Services Corporation (PTSC) presented Tet gifts to workers at FPSO Lam Son and Diamond rig to encourage them to have a warm and joyful Tet holiday.
