Leaders of the Ministry of Industry and Trade are members of the Steering Committee for the development of the private economic project.

According to Decision No. 526/QD-TTg dated March 6, 2025 of the Prime Minister, the leader of the Ministry of Industry and Trade is a member of the Steering Committee for developing the Private Economic Development Project.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed Decision No. 526/QD-TTg dated March 6, 2025 on the establishment of the Steering Committee for the development of the private economic development project (Steering Committee).

According to the above decision, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh is the Head of the Steering Committee for developing the private economic development project.

Deputy Heads of the Steering Committee include:

- Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung - Deputy Head of the Standing Committee, directly directed the development of the Private Economic Development Project;

- Minister of Finance Nguyen Van Thang - Deputy Head of the Committee in charge of coordinating and coordinating the development of the Private Economic Development Project.

The Steering Committee members include representatives of the leaders of the following ministries and agencies: Ministry of National Defense, Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Construction, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Justice; Government Office; State Bank of Vietnam.

In addition, the Steering Committee members also include the Chairmen of the People's Committees of Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong, Da Nang, Can Tho, and Hue cities; invited representatives of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee; representatives of the Economic and Financial Committee of the 15th National Assembly.

The Steering Committee is responsible for developing a private economic development project to submit to the Politburo. The Steering Committee works part-time, following the principles of centralization, democracy, and public discussion, ensuring unified direction.

The Head of the Steering Committee chairs scheduled meetings and convenes extraordinary meetings when necessary. He may authorize the Deputy Head of the Steering Committee to chair meetings to discuss and decide on specific issues within the duties of the Steering Committee.

The Ministry of Finance is the standing agency assisting the Steering Committee in implementing the Project.
