Lang Son promotes tourism at the 21st Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival 2025

- From April 3 to 6, a delegation from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (DTC) of Lang Son participated in the 21st Tourism Festival in 2025, organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism and the City Tourism Association.

With the message “Convergence and Shine”, the 21st Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival took place from April 3 to 6, at 23/9 Park (District 1), with more than 100 booths from 41 provinces and cities and 32 travel, transportation and airline businesses.

Participating in the event, the delegation of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lang Son organized a booth to introduce information and typical images of Lang Son tourism strengths, and introduce Lang Son tourism tours. At the same time, the booth introduced brocade products, souvenirs, and typical OCOP products of the province.

Mr. Nguyen Dang An, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lang Son and Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Hoa, Director of the Department of Tourism of Ho Chi Minh City co-chaired the Conference to summarize tourism development cooperation activities between Ho Chi Minh City and the Northeastern provinces in the period of 2024 - 2025.

In addition, on April 3, 2025, the working delegation of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism participated in the Conference to summarize tourism development cooperation activities between Ho Chi Minh City and 8 Northeastern provinces (Quang Ninh, Bac Kan, Bac Giang, Cao Bang, Lang Son, Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang, Vinh Phuc) in the period of 2024 - 2025.

At the conference, leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lang Son and representatives of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of localities spoke and discussed, proposing new directions in cooperation and tourism development. Accordingly, in terms of tasks in the coming time, the provincial cooperation group will continue to further strengthen information exchange, orientation for the development of typical tourism products, effectively exploit the potential advantages of each region and locality to implement the program "Accelerating recovery - Accelerating development" of the tourism industry, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of the region as well as the whole country. In particular, focusing on the following groups of tasks: continuing to organize cooperation activities between 8 Northeastern provinces and Ho Chi Minh City in the next phase with the mindset of innovating cooperation methods, proposing more effective cooperation solutions; positioning typical tourism products of each locality, creating diversity in tourism products...

This event kicks off a series of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025). The event opens up opportunities for businesses to connect, promote cooperation and develop sustainable tourism among localities across the country.
