Attending the meeting were delegates: Mr. Ta Dinh Thi, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee on Science, Technology and Environment; Ms. Nguyen Phuong Thuy, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee on Law and Mr. Nguyen Tuan Thinh, full-time National Assembly delegate of the Hanoi City National Assembly Delegation.
At the conference, delegate Ta Dinh Thi informed voters about the expected agenda of the 9th session of the National Assembly. Next, delegate Nguyen Tuan Thinh reported the results of the responses of competent agencies to voters' recommendations at the previous meeting.
The meeting received many enthusiastic opinions and recommendations, reflecting practical issues for the people. Representative of Thuong Tin district voters, Mr. Nguyen Toan Thang, raised the current situation of environmental pollution caused by Nhue river water, which has seriously affected people's lives and production. Voters recommended that the National Assembly, the Government and relevant ministries and branches soon come up with a radical solution.
In addition, Thuong Tin voters said that the planning of industrial clusters and craft village points has not met practical needs, and requested the Government to allow planning and investment in more industrial clusters to relocate production facilities out of residential areas, minimizing environmental pollution.
Voters in Thuong Tin district also proposed strengthening the fight against high-tech crimes and online fraud, which are becoming a burning issue today.
Voter Nguyen Huy Quang (Nam Phong commune, Phu Xuyen district) reported the serious deterioration of the system of underpasses and highway access roads, causing traffic insecurity. In particular, people were upset about the inadequacies in the procedures for dividing land with the letter T on the land use right certificate. According to the report, the low land area limit makes it impossible for people to convert the purpose to residential land, causing difficulties in stabilizing their lives, especially for households with many children.
Voter Pham Ngoc Thang (Quang Ha commune, Phu Xuyen district) requested the Government to consider providing financial support for officials who retire early under the staff streamlining program. In addition, Mr. Thang proposed investing in building more industrial clusters in the locality to create livelihoods and jobs for the people.
Speaking at the end of the meeting, Ms. Nguyen Phuong Thuy, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly's Committee on Law, affirmed that the opinions and recommendations of voters had been fully recorded and compiled by the Hanoi City National Assembly Delegation to be sent to relevant agencies for consideration and resolution in accordance with the provisions of law.
