As one of the peach growing villages that was less affected by storm No. 3, this year La Ca peach village planted tens of thousands of peach trees. In Hanoi, along with Phu Thuong - La Ca peach village is famous only after Nhat Tan. This year, with dozens of hectares of peach trees spread throughout the village, La Ca is confident in providing many beautiful peach varieties to the people.

Because it was less affected by flooding from storm No. 3 (higher than other peach growing villages), La Ca still retains a large number of peach trees. Near Tet, the weather is nice, cold, and sunny, making the peach blossoms bloom more beautifully.

However, according to peach growers here, peach prices will increase compared to previous years due to a shortage of supply elsewhere. This is understandable when people's demand shows no signs of decreasing.

Peach trees planted for decades have high prices, from 40 million VND or more.

Smaller peach trees cost several million. "The big peach trees are rented by government agencies, they rarely buy them," said a peach grower.

Ms. Lan, a resident of La Ca peach blossom village, said that many peach blossom branches usually cost only 500,000 VND, but this year they doubled, even tripled.

Some gardeners in La Ca set up tents and sheds to display peach branches and roots and introduce their products to consumers.

La Ca peach village is located in the west of Hanoi, where many urban areas are developing, so the area of ​​some gardens is shrinking.

Therefore, La Ca villagers have to rent land in other localities to grow peach trees. "Hoai Duc district is where we rent the most land for intensive cultivation," said a resident with 20 years of experience growing peach trees.

This year, La Ca peach village provides all kinds of peaches, from ancient peach trees to mysterious peaches, branch peaches...

Near the end of 2024, many flower and peach villages in the North, including Hanoi, were heavily affected by storm No. 3. Many areas were reduced, and yields were low. La Ca is one of the few places that still maintains the quantity and quality of peaches.
