Speaking at the contest, Director of the Department of Information and Communications Pham Van Tuan affirmed: The book storytelling contest is organized to improve and develop the reading culture in schools and the community. The organizers hope that the "Books and Future Aspirations" contest will be a useful playground, helping students confidently express their feelings about the good books they have read. Through reading, students build their dreams and aspirations for the future; can change their perception of life and everything around them, thereby adjusting their behavior, becoming useful people for society.
The contest is organized in the form of story-telling dramatization based on books, including 2 rounds: Preliminary and Final for students in the system of secondary schools in the area. After more than 1 month of launching, the Department of Education and Training of districts and towns has selected 1 best entry in the management system, submitting the entry according to the Regulations issued by the Department of Information and Communications. The Jury has evaluated the Preliminary round and selected 10 typical entries to participate in the Final round.
Through the competition of 10 teams with extremely profound messages and life lessons, the story-telling contest based on books with the theme "Books and Future Aspirations" brought many new, useful and interesting things.
In the final results, Tran Phu Secondary School (Le Chan District) won First Prize; Tien Lang Town Secondary School (Tien Lang District) and Nguyen Van Cu Secondary School (Thuy Nguyen District) won Second Prize.
