According to the report of the People's Committee of Ngoc Hoi district, currently the total number of households of Hoa Binh province following the migration program to live in the district is 764 households; of which there are 24 poor households, 21 near-poor households, 7 households with good production and business, the rest are mostly well-off households. In recent years, the Party Committee and authorities at all levels of the district have always cared for the spiritual and material life of the people of Hoa Binh province migrating to live and work in the district, regularly paying attention to directing and implementing the promotion of commodity production, aiming to increase income, improve the living standards of the people, focusing on health care and protection, developing education, improving people's knowledge, organizing activities to preserve and promote national cultural identity. In general, people have complied well with the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, and local regulations; At the same time, fulfill well the obligations of citizens in maintaining political security and social order and safety in rural areas.

With the spirit of democracy and responsibility, at the meeting, voters of ethnic minorities in Hoa Binh province living in Ngoc Hoi district proposed that provincial authorities at all levels should pay attention to investing in building for people in Bac Phong village, Po Y commune and Hao Ly village, Sa Loong commune of Ngoc Hoi district a traditional stilt house of the Muong ethnic group so that people have a place to live, meet and store products, tools, and cultural institutions of Muong space, contributing to preserving the traditional culture and characteristics of the nation.

In particular, voters hope that the Hoa Binh provincial government will create conditions and organize visits and encouragement for the people, especially on holidays and Tet, so that people have more motivation, peace of mind to live and develop the economy more strongly in their second homeland. At the same time, pay attention to and support people to learn and develop community tourism in their homeland to apply in their current place of residence. Thereby, preserving and promoting the Muong cultural identity in Ngoc Hoi district as well as helping to increase income for the people.

Acknowledging the enthusiastic and responsible opinions of voters, Central Party Committee member, State Auditor General, National Assembly Delegate of Hoa Binh province Ngo Van Tuan hopes that ethnic minority voters will promote the tradition of solidarity, always preserve the traditional cultural identity of their people, and turn to their homeland. At the same time, he thanked the Party Committee and government of Kon Tum province in general, and Ngoc Hoi district in particular, for creating all conditions for people to develop household economy and settle down permanently in Ngoc Hoi land.

Regarding the voters’ legitimate opinions on preserving and promoting the Muong ethnic culture in Ngoc Hoi homeland, the State Auditor General suggested that authorities at all levels consider and support the people. Thereby, contributing to preserving, maintaining and promoting the nation’s fine traditional cultural values.

On this occasion, the National Assembly Delegation of Hoa Binh province presented 296 gifts to households in Bac Phong village, Po Y commune, Ngoc Hoi district; presented 100 gifts to poor and near-poor households in Ngoc Hoi district; presented 5 Great Solidarity houses to Kon Tum province and a set of Gongs to the government and people of Ngoc Hoi district.
