In this book launch, poet and teacher Nguyen Thi My Dung released three books titled "Our Story", "Love Poetry Responses and Commentaries", "Our Beloved Family".

The first book, “Our Story” is an autobiographical story about a love story through handwritten letters with a partner, spanning the years from their school friendship, to their youthful love and the years of separation of a “Ngau couple” to a late but beautiful happiness.

The second volume, “Love Poetry Dialogues and Commentaries,” includes poetic dialogues between two poet friends of different ages.

The third book, “My Beloved Family”, expresses the author’s deep, passionate love for his extended family, expressing that family affection is the nucleus and solid foundation for patriotism, love for compatriots, love for humanity, and love for all things.

Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Thai Ha Book Joint Stock Company said, I was moved by a program organized simply but deeply, the artists participated in the performances, the singing and reading of poems, the poems of author Nguyen Thi My Dung were set to music, bringing many emotions to the listeners. Especially the performances by teachers who are both colleagues and students of poet and teacher Nguyen Thi My Dung brought a very special book introduction program, not just a simple book launch.

“We, who have been working in the book industry for many years, when we received the manuscripts of author Nguyen Thi My Dung, organized the editing and tried to perfect them for this launch. I am confident that the books will resonate, first of all for the more than 100 staff members of the bookstore, who are the first to read them. Through the content of the books, love, happiness, and kindness will spread everywhere,” Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung shared.

Sharing at the book launch, poet and teacher Nguyen Thi My Dung thanked Thai Ha Book Joint Stock Company and her colleagues for their encouragement, compilation and editing to launch the book on her 86th birthday. Author Nguyen Thi My Dung also thanked all the staff of the Vietnam Women's Museum for accompanying her in many important events over the past time, especially in organizing the collection and introducing documents and artifacts to everyone.

Talking about the poetry collection "Love Poetry Dialogue and Commentaries", poet and teacher Nguyen Thi My Dung said: since 2017, another author, Nguyet Le, and I have posted poems on Facebook. Since then, we have both had the joy of loving poetry. Since then, she and I have become lifelong friends, even though we are from the North and the South, we only know each other through social networks and have never met before.

“Throughout the collection of poems is the dialogue between two poets, in which there is affection, compassion, and sympathy between two poetry lovers. Each line of poetry expresses sympathy and sharing with each other... in which I always advise you to cherish what you have. Try to overcome the difficulties in life. Through each verse, I just want to contribute “bricks” to “support” your life and the life of poetry from being bumpy and bumpy,” author Nguyen Thi My Dung confided.

Regarding the book “Our Story”, poet and teacher Nguyen Thi My Dung shared: the book has 7 chapters, the first chapter is “School Days”, followed by “Distant Friendship”, “Higher Than Love”, “Love”, “Ngau Couple”, “Test of Fire” and the last chapter is “Love for You is Difficult”. In it are handwritten letters expressing the different levels of love, all the feelings of the two people are through the letters, there are pure and simple feelings when the two people love each other but each person works in a different place, in the challenging conditions of war.

According to the author Nguyen Thi My Dung, in the book “My Beloved Family”, there are many poems and stories about family love through many generations, including the relationship between grandparents and parents, the family of four generations, the relationship between family members, the love between mother and child, mother-in-law and daughter-in-law, grandmother and grandchild... Here I want to emphasize that family love will be the source, the foundation, the basis for patriotism, love for compatriots...

Traveling from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi to attend the program to launch 3 books, journalist Huynh Dung Nhan said, I admire the spirit of continuous creativity of poet and teacher Nguyen Thi My Dung. Through each verse, I see that the author treats her friends with love, there is simplicity, openness, intimacy but full of depth.

"And most importantly, through the books I see a great source of energy, a spirit of endless creativity, and enthusiasm for participating in cultural and artistic activities. All of this gives me positive energy and I learn a lot from the author," journalist Huynh Dung Nhan added.
