With their heart and responsibility, women in military units in Ha Tinh have shared the difficult work, accompanied the unfortunate lives with humane deeds and many meaningful gifts.

Responding to the Month of Action for Children 2023 (June), the National Month of Action on Prevention and Control of Domestic Violence 2023 (June) and the celebration of International Children's Day (June 1), the Women's Union of the Provincial Military Command in coordination with the Women's Union of Hong Linh town has just organized the program "Family Meal" at the Hong Linh Center for Supporting the Development of Inclusive Education for Children with Disabilities.

Female soldiers organize the "Family Meal" program at the Hong Linh Center for Supporting the Development of Inclusive Education for Children with Disabilities.

In a warm atmosphere, the female soldiers, together with more than 100 disabled children and 23 teachers and service staff here, organized fun games, meaningful experiential activities, gave gifts to the children (total value of 3 million VND), gave monthly support money to 5 children (300,000 VND/child/month) and a very warm meal.

Priest Nguyen Thi Toan - Director of the Hong Linh Center for Supporting the Development of Inclusive Education for Children with Disabilities shared: “In the difficult conditions of facilities and limited resources to care for the children, the support from kind-hearted people is very valuable. We appreciate the affection, sharing and companionship of the female soldiers in the Ha Tinh Military. They often have meaningful gifts and activities during holidays and Tet and regularly sponsor 5 children. Thereby, helping to encourage us and the children to overcome difficulties and strive to rise up”.

The Women's Union of the Provincial Military Command presented June 1 gifts to children at the Hong Linh Center for Supporting the Development of Inclusive Education for Children with Disabilities.

Lieutenant Colonel Tran Thi Giang - President of the Women's Union of the Provincial Military Command said: "In addition to activities at the Hong Linh Center for Supporting the Development of Inclusive Education for Children with Disabilities, during this peak period, we also have many other activities and meaningful gifts. As planned, in the near future, we will present gifts worth 200 million VND to disabled, orphaned, disadvantaged children with high academic achievements across the province. Thereby, encouraging children to overcome their circumstances, reduce difficulties, and confidently excel in their studies and life."

For many years now, Tran Quoc Huy (born in 2015, cerebral palsy, bedridden, often has epilepsy) in residential group 14, Cam Xuyen town, Cam Xuyen district) has also regularly received attention and help from female soldiers in the Ha Tinh People's Armed Forces. In addition to gifts and cakes given monthly (300 - 500 thousand VND/month), women in military uniforms also regularly come to encourage, share, and support this unfortunate family to overcome difficulties and adversities.

Leaders of the Political Department and women's union members of the Provincial Military Command gave gifts to encourage Tran Quoc Huy in residential group 14, Cam Xuyen town.

Ms. Tran Thi Huong (Huy's mother) confided: "My child is disabled and his family is poor. I love him and my own fate very much. With the material support and timely spiritual encouragement from the women in the army, I have lessened my sadness and increased my will to live to take better care of my child and my family."

The Women's Union of the Provincial Military Command and the Women's Union of Loc Ha district visited and gave gifts to Phan Vu Thien in Thanh Tan village (Thach Chau commune).

In recent times, the Women's Unions at all levels of the Provincial Military Command have promoted social security activities towards the community. In addition to the above-mentioned funding sources, the Women's Unions at all levels of the Provincial Military Command have implemented fundraising models well. Notable funds include: "Membership", "Save time, share difficult work", "Saving piggy bank", "For women in difficulty", "Godmother", "Sisterhood of salary and education", "Bowl of love porridge", "One good deed a day", "Green house for collecting waste". Along with that is the source of saving paper and stationery, building a model of increasing production... Thereby, each year, about 400 million VND has been collected, sharing and promptly encouraging unfortunate lives, policy families, lonely elderly people and other vulnerable groups.

The Women's Union of the Provincial Military Command presented gifts to encourage Nguyen Van Hieu (motherless, father paralyzed) in Quyet Thang village, Binh An commune, Loc Ha district.

Colonel Mai Ngoc Viet - Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command said: “In recent times, the Standing Party Committee and the Head of the Provincial Military Command have regularly paid attention to leading and directing community-oriented activities of mass organizations, especially the women's union, in conjunction with the implementation of tasks in each agency and unit. Thanks to that, the women's unions at all levels of the Provincial Military Command have promoted their spirit and responsibility, promoted the strength of solidarity, advised on the implementation of many programs and activities with profound practical significance, creating a spread in the armed forces and people in the area. We continue to strengthen leadership, direction, replicate typical examples, promote the tradition of dynamism, initiative, and creativity in organizing and implementing women's unions at all levels and each member to have more activities and meaningful gifts".
