Spreading the message 'Da Nang - City of Innovation' at DAVAS 2024

DNO - On the morning of May 31, the Danang Center for Supporting Innovative Startups (Department of Science and Technology - KH&CN) organized the Danang Venture and Angel Summit 2024 (DAVAS 2024) with the theme "Reaching Creativity - Connecting Globally" and the message "Da Nang - City of Innovation".

DAVAS 2024 is held for the first time in Da Nang to connect elements in the ecosystem, create opportunities for projects and startups to approach investors and investment funds; gradually build and position Da Nang to become an attractive destination for capital calling and investment, forming a community of angel investors and venture capital funds in the city.

During the opening ceremony, the Department of Science and Technology signed a cooperation agreement with Kilsa Global - an organization promoting business and investment in the Asian region.

According to the memorandum, the two sides will coordinate to organize international events to attract foreign investors to invest in Da Nang city; support projects and start-up businesses in Da Nang to develop international markets and projects, start-up businesses, and foreign companies to develop markets in Da Nang and Vietnam.

KILSA Global plays a focal role in supporting the connection of the innovative startup ecosystem in Da Nang city through KILSA Global's network in Singapore, Korea and other countries.

DAVAS 2024 takes place over 2 days, May 31 and June 1, including the following contents: organizing capital calls for innovative projects and startups; connecting investors and innovative startups and projects in a 1:1 format; 3 investment forums on innovative startups; organizing a cooperation signing ceremony between the Department of Science and Technology and KILSA Global; launching the innovation cooperation space of the Quest Ventures investment fund in Da Nang.

DAVAS 2024 takes place over 2 days, May 31 and June 1, gathering more than 10 large domestic and international investment funds.

The event gathered more than 10 large domestic and foreign investment funds such as: Quest Ventures, Do Ventures, TheVentures, Weangels, Flying Fish...; about 20 startup support units such as: Swiss EP, Kilsa Global, Draper House Vietnam....

In addition, the event has about 30 domestic and foreign innovative projects/startups in need of capital; of which, there are 3 projects from Singapore, 1 project from Canada, 7 projects from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, 19 projects from Da Nang.
