In addition, Toyota Vietnam has been actively researching, introducing, and bringing to the market new car models with advanced, environmentally friendly technology; implementing a project to research biofuels on new generation cars in Vietnam within the framework of the project to develop multi-dimensional approaches, aiming for carbon neutrality... Joining hands to respond to the Earth Hour campaign and the "For the Environment" Action Month towards green transformation.

Along with that, TMV implements many activities to contribute to society on a large scale andeducates the community about environmental protection.

With the desire to improve the landscape, restore the ecosystem, combat climate change, and mitigate natural disasters in Vietnam, TMV has implemented many activities to improve and protect the environment. Including activities responding to the program of planting 1 billion new trees in the period of 2021-2025 launched by the Prime Minister .

In November 2024, Toyota Vietnam coordinated to organize a tree donation ceremony for the "1 billion trees - For a green Vietnam" program at Tam Son town stadium (Song Lo). Within the framework of the program, the company coordinated to plant and donate 159 Taiwan banyan trees and 2 garbage sorting bins to the People's Committee of Song Lo district; instruct and practice garbage sorting with the goal of raising environmental awareness for local people.

In addition, TMV also promotes environmental protection activities in schools nationwide and in the province through the program "Toyota joins hands to green schools" and builds playgrounds for children from recycled tires through the program "The second journey of tires".

Launched in 2017, the program "Toyota joins hands to green schools" has received high praise from the community, because it not only creates green areas to beautify the landscape, contributing to improving the air and environment, but also brings excitement to teachers and students across the country every time they go to school. At the same time, it spreads the message of living in harmony with nature, contributing to raising awareness and consciousness of environmental protection for students - the young generation of the future. To date, Toyota Vietnam has contributed nearly 9,600 trees to 95 schools in 42 provinces and cities across the country.

In order to spread the message of green living to the local community in general and teachers and students at schools across the country, along with tree planting activities, the program "Second Journey of Tires" brings excitement, creates colorful playgrounds, and a relaxing entertainment space for students after each school hour.

In the joyful atmosphere of the first days of the new school year 2024 - 2025, on September 5, hundreds of students and teachers of Tam Son Primary School (Song Lo) joined hands to launch the green school journey with a Japanese car company, participating in tree planting activities and receiving the handover of a playground with an area of ​​about 250 m2 with many useful and diverse physical games, such as swings, seesaws, slides, balance beams... All are recycled from used car tires with many colors and diverse shapes, both beautiful and economical; creating excitement and inspiring creativity, using recycled materials; contributing to building a green - clean - beautiful school and educating environmental protection awareness for future generations of the country.

In addition, manufacturing outdoor toys and teaching aids to donate to kindergartens or the Toyota program responding to the month of action for the environment towards green transformation are social activities that have been actively implemented in the province in recent times.

These are programs and activities that TMV has implemented annually throughout its nearly 30-year journey in the province, demonstrating the company's commitment to joining hands to protect the environment with the local community to bring a more beautiful environment for today and future generations, towards green transformation following the global trend.
