In order to spread the message "Binh Minh: Warm love - opening the way to knowledge", on April 18, Binh Minh Primary School (80 Tho Nhuom, Hanoi ) - a specialized school for disabled children and integrated children - held a ceremony to celebrate Vietnam's Day for People with Disabilities (April 18), towards the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 / April 30, 2025).
Speaking at the program, Ms. Trinh Thi Le Thu, Vice Principal in charge of Binh Minh Primary School, affirmed that April 18 is not only a day for people with strong will, but also a day of compassion, love and sharing. Binh Minh Primary School continues to be a place to sow seeds of love, spread the light of hope, and support young shoots to grow up in an inclusive, friendly and humane environment.
Within the framework of the program, the students enthusiastically participated in many rich and attractive activities. The opening was the "Golden Bell" Contest with questions revolving around the topics of Vietnam Disabled People's Day (April 18) and Southern Liberation and National Reunification Day (April 30), integrating interdisciplinary knowledge from mathematics, history, geography, ethics to life skills. The competition not only challenges intelligence but also arouses national pride and community responsibility in each student.
The program also included exciting group sports games, where children played the role of Uncle Ho's soldiers. Along with that were creative and engaging games such as blindfolded popcorn smashing and passing the ball to the finish line - helping children practice physical strength, coordination skills and team spirit.
Previously, on April 17, the school's students also participated in STEM exchange activities, assembling a model of "Dream City" with three special themes: Independence Palace, amusement park and zoo.
